Maya's POV

It was finally the big day: Lucas and Riley's wedding. Riley looked beautiful with her bohemian styled dress. It was spaghetti strapped and white floral lace with nude underlining and a low neckline that dipped in the middle but stopped a couple inches above her waistline where the tighter bodice part of the dress turned into an equally beautiful a-line skirt. Her hair was pinned half up and curled into perfect ringlets with a pearl hairpin that had been used Mrs. Matthews' grandmother in her wedding. Lucas didn't look too bad either in his tux. I was so excited for my best friends. I couldn't imagine them being with anybody else.

I was Riley's maid of honor followed by Smackle. We both had on dark blue tank top styled mid-thigh dresses with a scalloped v-neck. Zay was Lucas' best man followed by Farkle they both had on blue ties that matched our dresses. The guys also all had matching blue Adidas with their initials on the back that Lucas had picked out. It wasn't a huge wedding, but it was still fairly elaborate. Mr and Mrs Matthews were there along with Auggie, my mom and Shawn were there as well. All of the main family members were there on both Lucas and Riley's side.

The ceremony started not too long after Lucas and Riley had their first look - we had to touch up Riley's makeup after that. Riley's cousin Farrah, Eric's three year old daughter, was the flower girl and Lucas's cousin's son, Anthony, was the ring bearer. Anthony had on the same shoes the older guys had on and Farrah's dress was the same color as Smackle and I had on. It was my turn to walk and I was nervous I would trip, but I got a reassuring smile from Riley and automatically felt better.

I reached my spot and smiled at Josh who gave me a small wave. Not much later, the music started playing for Riley to walk down the aisle. The look on Lucas' face said it all - that boy was completely devoted to her. They hadn't written their own vows to perform in front of everybody, but they each wrote one hundred reasons why they wanted to be with the other which they read prior to today. The ceremony was quick and now it was time for a small break before the reception. For the reception Riley changed into a shorter dress with a nude sweetheart necked bodice with white ultra sheer lace that went over both of her shoulders and connected to the front and back and white pencil skirt.

At the end of the night Josh joined the wedding party in helping clean up and we soon went home after wishing the two a safe and fun honeymoon.
