I walked into the apartment Josh was sitting on the couch scrolling through the channels on the TV he stood up and walked over to me upon noticing my arrival, kissing me lightly, he stopped momentarily to speak but there was minimal space between us and his arms were still around me "you don't have plans tonight do you?" "no?" my tone was curious but "good" was the only response I received a wink coming along with it. I rolled my eyes before heading up the stairs to change out of my work clothes "what should I wear" I yelled down to Josh not wanting to be over or under dressed I heard his laughter through the door before his reply "doesn't need to be fancy just wear something comfortable" I did and exited the room he stood waiting for me in the living room his face lit up as he spotted me coming down the hallway he took my hand "have a good day?" He questioned I smiled "nothing to complain about. you?" he opened door and we walked through it "it was fine" he answered simply we got in the car and pulled out of the parking lot I smiled over at him our hands lay intertwined between us "are you ever going to tell me where we are going?" His eyes lit up with the promise of mischief "Patience is a virtue Miss Hart" I mimicked his formal tone "but of course Mr. Matthews" it was about five minutes later that we pulled up in front of the restaurant we ate and then went to a movie (a cheesy chick flick) we ended up back at the apartment laying next to each other on the couch my head was on his shoulder "so" I began "so" he answered "what was the whole spontaneous date thing about?" Josh wasn't usually a spontaneous person and it had made me curious "it was the first Friday of this month" it clicked in my head. the first Friday of every month Riley and I have a girls night and we went to see a movie he chuckled "I know you're not the chick flick type but it's what you would've seen with her" it was also the first full week they'd been gone and the first girls night that we had missed "thanks" I said kissing him on the cheek. He smiled " I know you Have missed her"
