So I am so so sorry I have not updated!! I have no excuse other than major writers block for this story :/ all of your continued support definitely keeps me motivated thank you guys.
Riley's POV
Maya, Josh, Lucas and I sat in the bay window. "Aren't you guys so excited to go skiing?!" I asked them. We had all decided to take a ski trip to celebrate Riley, Lucas and I graduating high school. Farkle and smackle had made plans of their own fearing the ski slopes. Lucas reached over and intertwined his fingers through mine "of course we are!" "In fact" josh continued "I should get home to finish packing" he stood up, Maya stood up after him and he kissed her quickly on the lips "see you all tomorrow" "bye!" Lucas and I said in unison. "I probably need to get home too but I'll be here early in the morning to leave" he kissed me and then left. Maya had packed for the trip today and we had planned for her to stay the night at my house. "Movie night?" She asked. I nodded enthusiastically.
|Next morning|
My alarm went off and I shut it off. I looked over at Maya laying next to me. She had slept through my blaring alarm I laughed and shook her. She mumbled something incomprehensible and I shook her again, still nothing. "Maya. Time to wake up" no reaction at all. I laughed before shoving her off the bed. She hit the floor gently, waking right up. Her eyes found mine "hey what was that for?" I laughed "you wouldn't wake up. Did you want to be late" she paused thinking about it for a moment "no" but her tone didn't sound convinced. The boys showed up an hour later and we all piled in to my dads suv that he had agreed to let Josh drive for the trip. 2 hours later we pulled in to the resort and rented all of the ski gear. We went to the slopes but unfortunately I'm a clutz and fell very ungracefully on the first hill. All 3 of them ran over to me there voices overlapping "are you okay?" "My arm hurts" I told them they all helped me and led me back to the lodge. Maya sat down next to me. "We can all find something to do in here" josh said. "Sure. I'll go look for some movies or board games" Lucas agreed. I looked at Maya and josh "you don't have to stay here with me. If I can't have fun somebody should. I mean we've had this trip planned for ages." "No way" josh said. "We're not leaving you" Maya agreed. "It's fine at least go catch some slopes today" they looked at each other hesitantly trying to decide what they should do. "We're going to but we will come check on you in half an hour" Maya said. Josh nodded before grabbing Maya's hand and leading Maya out of the lodge. Lucas came back over "I found these two movies and Yahtzee" "Maya and Josh just left to go catch some slopes if you hurry you can catch them." He shook his head "why not?" I asked. "Wouldn't be any fun without you" he said handing me a paper to record our scores for Yahtzee.
Maya's POV
"It's been 20 minutes we should go check on Riley see if she wants us there. It'll take 10 minutes to get back there" he nodded in agreement. Before grabbing and carrying our gear. He refused to let me carry any of it. As we walked up we could see in the lobby Windows long before we reached the doors. We seen Riley and Lucas sitting near the fire, hot chocolates and Yahtzee in front of them, snuggled up together with a huge blanket. "Let's let them have their moment" Josh whispered in my ear I nodded before following him back out to the slopes
Hope this chapter makes up for the long hiatus. I will try to not make the next update so far off. Also I am taking requests for a new story since I have been so inactive lately. So let me know what you would like to see for my nest story wether it be a sequel to anything I've written or a story of one shots where I take requests for each chapter or something completely new.
