Connections
We got all the social apps but we still aren't talking.
All the fitness tips but still just walking
All the media to pull us close but all we do is tear each other down
and now here we are
In the land between near and far
I can call anyone on the face of the earth...
but still won't
because I feel like an annoyance.

Our unified suicide is the obliteration of our nation
The downfall of the proud and tall
Look up from your phone and see the people right in front of you
Turn from your screen and see the real relationships before you
And remember! What ever you do, remember! That these social apps can't replace who
You
Are
