Subconscious
Do you have the screams of an anchored beast echo within your mind?
Do you have the decency to keep him locked in limbo?
Do you know the words to use to describe such a beast? Do you have them?
A fist curls and uncurls. Curls and uncurls. Curls...
A wail is stifled and choked down for an unimaginable number of days.
The chains within tug on the eye lids with out. The chain strains on the neck and spine. You call it stress, tenseness, we call it collective effort.
Struggles as I write to contain the content of my own stomach see. For self-hatred, to self pity (the worst of these), to fatigue.
Give me migraines and give me blades, but God, please God, don't let me cause another's pain.
Do you have the screams of an anchored beast echo within your mind?
