Your POV
I woke up to the sunlight hitting my face, I covered my eyes and yawned. I sprung out of bed, I couldn't stop thinking about the tale that Grandma Lorraine told me last night as a bedtime story. A naga. I merely image a human with a snake tail for legs. It seemed like an awesome content, having the features of a normal human and having the features of my favorite animal, a snake. (If a snake isn't your favorite animal just pretend it is.) I ran out of my bedroom dressed for the day, today was different from all the rest. Today is the day I go and find a naga! I ran down the stairs and dashed to the front door, quickly putting my shoes and coat on. I then ran to the bathroom grabbing two boxes of band aids, a few wash clothes, two towels, antibiotic ointment, bandages, and bug repellent. I shoved it into an olive colored backpack, I then ran to the fridge and grabbed a couple water bottles and a few snacks. Right before I opened the front door I heard footsteps behind me, "Y/n, where are you going?" Grandma Lorraine asked, watching me from the kitchen counter. I turned back and smiled as widely as I could, I honestly thought my cheeks were going to rip with how wide I smiled. "I'm going to go find a naga in our woods!" I chirped, she chuckled and held up an empty bowl. "But! An adventurer needs their breakfast! They need to be fueled for the day and breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" She said, smiling. She then placed the bowl on the table and poured fruity pebbles into the bowl, pouring cold milk on it. I put my stuff down and ran to the table, instantly starting to chow down. I tried to eat as fast as I could so that I could start my adventure sooner. I downed the milk left in the bowl and jumped out of the chair running back to the olive colored backpack. I threw it on my back real quick and swung the front door open, I felt welcomed by the warm sunlight and the calm, gentle wind blowing through the trees. I ran into the woods in hope of seeing a naga strolling along, well, slithering along. It was quiet until I heard screaming and yelling from one hundred yards away. I instantly started to run towards the loud sound. I then seen a cage hanging from a large tree, the large cage was shaking violently extremely loud yelling and shouting was coming from the cage, mostly the shouting was curse words. "Who's there?" I asked, I was looking up at the cage and it stopped shaking. A man with bright green eyes looked down at me, "Oh thank bloody god! Wait! You're not a hunter are you!?" He asked, hissing loudly afterwards which sounded like an angered snake. It then hit me, a naga! "No, I'm not a hunter." I said, looking at green eyed man. "I know this might be out of no where but, are you a naga?" I asked, trying get a better look at the man. He started to sound nervous, "W-What!? N-No! That'd be ridiculous! T-They're just a myth! There's not such an amazing, majestic, beautiful creature like me- I mean! Like them!" He blabbered on, excitement filled me. "So you are a naga!" I chirped, I squealed in happiness, "Awesome!" I started climbing the giant tree that the caged naga was in. I heard him sigh annoyingly, "Kid, I honestly don't think you can help me. I mean you're only a young lass," he said, crossing his arms. He might be doubting me but I believe that I can save him! Its an adventure! "Well I have faith!" I said, climbing the giant tree. "What's your name?" I asked the trapped naga, the naga looked at me, "Arthur, how about you lass?" He said in an almost sarcastic tone, it hit me that he holds out his S's like a snake. "I'm Y/n! Its nice to meet you Arthur!" I said cheerfully, I was close to the cage and as I got closer more was shown. I could now see his torso and arms, both had patches of scales on it. He had a long dark green tail that was coiled around him loosely. "Woah!" I said in shock and awe, he looked at me as if almost glaring annoyingly at me. "What? Never seen a mythical creature before?" He asked, I was now eye level with green eyed man, I smiled brightly at him. "Nope! You're the first!" I said keeping a smile on my face, he sighed. "Great a newbie," He rubbed his temples, he shook his head. "Just get me out of this bloody cage. It has been a rough day as you can obviously see." He said gesturing to the giant cage, I could only imagine what it was like to be chased by hunters when you're a naga. I felt bad for him.

Arthur's POV
Out of everyone it had to be a little human girl who hasn't seen any mythical creatures, just my luck. I watched as the little girl confidentially climb the tree, her bright e/c eyes met mine finally. "Do you have anything sharp?" She asked, I was profoundly confused. "No why?" I asked, I started to lose hope and I started to get mad. She then plopped down on a large tree branch pulling a weird bag off her back and searching through it hurriedly. She then looked shocked and pulled out a small metal thing that looked nothing sharp at all. Y/n then pushed a small button on the metal thing and a thick silver blade flicked out of the metal thing. "Lucas is lucky I don't tattle a lot." I heard her saying, staring at the blade. I then heard the sound of rope being cut, it then hit me, she's cutting the rope that the cage was hanging from. "Wait! Wait! Don't cut tha.." I said trying get to her to stop, but it was too late. Not even a split second later, CRASH! The cage was on the ground and it didn't even hurt, I barely felt anything. But why? I looked up at the bright e/c eyed girl to see she had a bright smile on her face and I was still shocked. Shock turned to frustration and anger, "How in bloody hell did you not hurt me!? You could've killed me with that 'escape plan'! Why are little children so ruthless I mean seriously!?" I said in complete frustration, I only heard her giggle before climbing down the giant tree. I kept complaining about how reckless kids are these days and how they all die at such a damn young age because of how reckless they are, y/n was already in front of the cage sitting in front of it just staring at me. Once I finally realized it I stopped and looked at her confused once again. She then dug through her back and pulled out a bright red object, I stared at it. The red color was extremely vibrant and I noticed that it was an apple. I've never seen one like that before. I tilted my head slightly, she then held the bright red apple out to me. "Want it?" She asked, still smiling. Before I could declined my stomach growled loudly, I then nodded softly and gently took the apple, "Thank you y/n." I said, instantly starting to eat the apple afterwards. She smiled brightly and nodded, "I had a feeling that you've been in there for awhile." She said digging through the bag once again, pulling out a small wire like thing and started to pick at the lock with it. I watched as the she picked the lock, heavy footsteps were there heard. I growled towards the direction, "Hunters." I said angrily, the cage door then opened quickly. "Come on!" I heard y/n say, I turned to her and picked her up quickly. I then slithered away as quickly as I could, If the hunters would've found her there who knows what they would've done.. Y/n wasn't kicking nor screaming, just looked up at me with an confused look. Once arriving at the cave I put y/n down as she looked around in shock.
