All six year olds could think of were toys and attention. They made up stories and were at the stage of making imaginary friends. If they heard something about a story of a made up creature they would imagine that it was real. But what if what people thought was imaginary was actually real? Well, in young y/n's case, the scenario was exactly that.

Your POV

I was running around the yard chasing my dog, Jack, because he had my favorite bouncy ball in his mouth. I finally catch him and got my f/c bouncy ball back, I didn't know which was worse, the fact that there was dog slobber on my favorite bouncy ball or that it had tiny chunks taken out of it from Jack chewing on it. I pouted, I then heard Grandma Lorraine call, "Y/n! Come on inside! Its getting late!" I put the chewed up, slobbery f/c bouncy ball in the pocket of my jean overalls and ran inside with Jack following close behind. I took my shoes and jacket off, my Grandma Lorraine was standing in the kitchen baking apple pie. I ran to her side as I watched her flatten out the blob of dough that was covered in flour. I watched in amazement, I've always wanted to bake a cake or make a spaghetti dinner for everyone. My friend, Mrs. Fairy, says that it won't be long before I will be able to do that. Every time she says that I get excited and beg my Grandma Lorraine to bake something. Also, every time I tell my older sister and my older brother about Mrs. Fairy they laugh at me and tell me that she's fake. Many people do to be honest, they all make fun of me when I talked about Mrs. Fairy. It makes Mrs. Fairy and I very upset. But, when I tell Grandma Lorraine about it she believes me. After Grandma Lorraine was done with the apple pie I looked at it and almost instantly my mouth watered. "Grandma Lorraine," I said, looking at the freshly cut piece of warm, gooy apple pie. "Can Mrs. Fairy have some?" I tilted my head and was smiling, she chuckled and put another piece of apple pie on a plate placing it beside me. I started eating the giant piece of apple pie that Grandma Lorraine cut for me. As Grandma Lorraine left the kitchen, I quickly finished my piece of apple pie and put the piece of apple pie on Mrs. Fairy's plate onto mine. I then scarfed the piece of pie quickly before Grandma Lorraine walked into the the kitchen to see what was going on. "Wow! Mrs. Fairy must have been really hungry!" She exclaimed in shock, I smiled widely as she walked to the table and took the two plates. "She was! She says thank you and I do too!" I chirped happily, she patted my head and washed the plates off. I ran up to my room and my older sister, Katie, was in my room going through all of my stuff as if looking for something in an urgent matter. "Kate what are you doing in my room?"  I asked, a little bit angered that she just waltzed in my room without asking me. "None of your concern you freak!" She yelled at me, my lip started quivering. Right as I was about to yell for Grandma Lorraine, Kate put her hand over my mouth to keep me from yelling. "Okay! Okay! I'll tell you!" She said, keeping from calling for Grandma Lorraine. She sighed, "I'm going out with a few friends. We're having a 'slumber party' and I didn't get a chance to ask Grandma so, I need a few of your big stuffed animals so that Grandma thinks that I'm still in bed." She explained, even though I knew what she was doing, I pouted to keep the act going. "What do I get in return?" I asked, slyly smirking. She groaned, "I'll buy you a candy bar everyday this week, okay?" She asked, hoping it was enough to get me to keep this secret for her. I started thinking, "Okay! Deal!" I said happy with the deal, she sighed in relief and took a few big stuffed animals. As she hauled out them out I noticed she had Mr. Fluffers, which was my favorite stuffed animal ever, I tugged on Mr. Fluffers. "Don't take Mr. Fluffers!" I said, she dropped him and ran to her room. I dragged the big, fluffy brown bear back to my bed and crawled on my bed pulling Mr. Fluffers with me. A couple minutes later, Grandma Lorraine walked into my bedroom, "Who's ready for a bedtime story?" She said, walking to my bed sitting at the end of the bed. "Me!" I chirped happily as she faced towards me sitting with her legs crossed, I crawled to her still holding Mr. Fluffers. I cuddled up to Grandma Lorraine and covered myself with a white and purple polka dotted blanket, she then spoke in a gentle voice, "What do you want to hear tonight?" She stroked my h/l, h/c hair with skinny, wrinkled yet soft hand, which made me sleepy. I yawned and responded tiredly, "Anything that you haven't told." I closed my e/c eyes waiting to hear yet another amazing folklore or fairytale, she then spoke, "Have I ever told you about the tale of Nagas?" She asked, I looked up at Grandma Lorraine in curiosity. "What's a naga?" I asked, curiosity flooding my mind. She then continued with the story, "A naga is a majestical creature that has the features of a human and a snake. It has the upper half of a human with snake eyes, tongue and patches of scales on its arms and face. Its bottom half is snakes having full fledged out features of a snake. Its bottom half being nothing more than a giant snake tail. They have been on this earth ever since the first human family was created. They live in the woods where at least one cave lies. Many fear to enter there rocky home because of the saying that has been here for generations, 'Beware the naga. It lurks in cave. Where treasures and gold lays. Try to steal from a naga it'll be the last thing you do.' No one has traveled into or got near a cave deep in the woods. But, everyone has the intentions of the naga species all wrong," She paused, still stroking my hair. Staying quiet for a second and then continuing once again, "They can be kind, gentle creatures but, only if you bond with or help a naga. When angered it may be the last thing you see." I tried to continue listening but, drowsiness was getting the best of me. Not even five minutes later I finally fell asleep.
