It wasn't usual for animals to fall in love with someone that's not the same specie as themselves. Some animals find it disgusting, unnatural and even weird. It was a rare sight to see a "different" couple. It was something that didn't happen everyday.

Ash was pretty tired of the way that the townspeople would look at her and her boyfriend, Johnny. They could be walking down the street, maybe holding hands, and then it would be some dumb animal who would look at them as if they're committing a crime.

"I swear, that sheep just gave us a dirty look." Ash said to Johnny as they were walking down the street. They were holding hands and neither Ash or Johnny could contain the smiles on their lips. But the couples smiles quickly disappeared when they saw the looks some of the other animals where giving them. Some animals even started whispering to each other, thinking that neither Johnny or Ash could hear the mean words.

"Just ignore them." Johnny said to his girlfriend, who was getting angrier and angrier at every second.

"We shouldn't have to ignore them. They should be able to keep their mouths shut." Ash said with anger in her voice.

"Are those two together?" An older sheep asked another sheep while looking at Ash and Johnny. The porcupine tried to ignore them... But...

"No, they can't be. They're too different." The other sheep answered, while glancing at the gorilla and the porcupine.

"Can you two shut up?!" Ash lashes out at the two sheep. They both shut's their mouths, and walked quickly away.

Then Ash felt a pull in her arm. She looked up at her boyfriend and saw that he had stopped. Johnny was looking in to the ground, as if his shoes was the most interesting thing he's ever seen.

"Ash, do you think we're too different?" The gorilla asked his girlfriend without looking at her. Ash hugged his hand.

"No, we're not to different. I love music, you love music. You'll do whatever it takes to reach your dreams, and so do I. We both play an instrument, and we both sing. We both joined the singing competition in order to change our lives for the better." Ash said with a soft voice. Johnny glanced at her, and she gave him a smile. "Actually, I think we're more similar than different."

"But those sheep..."

"Doesn't know a thing. They don't know about us." Johnny finally cracked a smile. Ash's smile got even wider when seeing this. "I don't care what anyone else thinks. I love you, and nothing can change that." Johnny's eyes went wide open when she said the L-word. Ash has only said the L-word once, but that when she was sick and was hallucinating, so that doesn't really count. But this time... It really counts.

Johnny pulled Ash closer to him. He brought her face closer to his and kissed her in front of everybody. He didn't care who saw them. He truly couldn't care less. Johnny only cared about her. About this feeling he got whenever he held her close. About this feeling he was feeling right now. Nothing else mattered.

***

This was pretty much inspired when a douchebag said to me that "it's unnatural to be gay." I got so mad that I actually considered giving him a bitch slap.

Nothing should stop people from being with whoever they want to be with. Nothing. People shouldn't be afraid of falling in love just because society thinks it's weird. That's just messed up.

I'll post a new oneshot next Wednesday! See ya!
