"This might not work, Nicholas. After all, we've never tried to change AI before!"
"Shut up! I know what I'm doing! Otherwise I wouldn't of got the AI you fool!"
"You sure about that, there's no effect yet-"
"Are you talking to me, your director, with a bad attitude? I can oh so easily fire you."
"N.....N....." You stutter, finding it impossible to speak.
"Oh, Nicholas, the subject is awake."
"And I thought I would of had to wake you myself, <Y/N>," Nicholas says, looking down at you. Glancing around, you notice you're tied to a chair. From what you remember, you were running from guards belonging to the WHU, and you tripped. The last thing you heard was a females laughter, and you recognise it, but you take this as a guess, as Nicholas's laugh. "Now, you might feel slightly dizzy..." She says, almost timing it with your sudden dizziness. You feel a slight sting in your arm and then feel something coursing through your veins, and it soon reaches your neck. You try to scratch the spot where whatever is in you is, but the ropes keep your hands down. It soon slowly rises above your neck and near your ear.
"So it does work. Huh."
"I told you!"
Your vision begins to fade to black and, as your eyelids close, you see a faint blue cover your eyes.

"And that's the first of many, my dear scientist."

Well, I didn't want to make this full of Undertale characters, so I brought in you, the reader! There won't be many chapters where it's the readers point of view, but I thought why not include the reader! The main characters (Jane and Shadow) will know you in the story, as will Nicholas.
