Nobody ever told me how much it hurts when a family member - someone you love - makes even a mild comment against homosexuality. It wasn't even aimed at me, but at the TV. It still hurt me. There's nothing wrong with being lesbian or gay. But a lot of people just don't seem to understand that. What I don't understand is why some people think that LGBTQ+ individuals are "different" or "strange". Because we're not. We still look the same as straight individuals, still behave the same way. Even the actual act of sex for a same sex couple is the same as for a straight couple. It's just showing love for one another in the strongest way. That's all. No one should feel afraid or be forbidden from loving another person. No one. And I vow to teach this wherever I go.

Thơ caBasically a beautiful mess of poetic and... erm, decidedly less so writing. Beware of the occasional full-on speech.
