Bad Things Happen To Good People

Hayes' pov

  "Hayes I have to go home and pack some clothes I'll be right back." Hali says getting up. "Yeah I don't think so. It's pouring outside and it's coming down hard, I can barely see out of the window." I shake my head. "I'll be okay I promise." She gives me a smile. "Hali no." I wrap my arms around her. "Will you feel better if Nash drove me?" She asks. "Yes." She nods. "NASH!" She yells. After about 30 seconds Nash comes down the stairs. "Yes?" "Can you drive me to my house since Hayes won't let me cause it's "to dangerous" for me to drive by myself." Hali rolls her eyes. "Yeah come on let's go." I give her a long kiss and a tight hug. "Please be safe." I say with my forehead on hers. "I will I promise." She hugs me one last time and her and Nash walk out the door.
   I hear the jeep pull out and I instantly get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. It's probably just nerves. I try to shake it away but it won't go away. Ugghhh! I walk into the kitchen and grab some TAKIS and go into the living room to watch some Spongebob. Classic I know but whatever. After about 10 minutes my phone starts to ring. I see Nash calling me, probably telling me they made it.

Me: sup Nash

Nash: Hayes.

Me: what? What's wrong

Nash: it's Hali.

Me: WHAT HAPPENED?!

Nash: I'll tell you once you get here. We're on Sunshine Ave in front of  the Pier.

Me: on my way!

Nash's pov:

  "Hayes is so over protective of me." Hali laughs. "Yeah he's like that with people he loves." Nash smiles. "So tell me, how are you and Jaylen?" She wiggles her eyebrows. I blush and look down but back up. "Um.. we're good. I wanna ask her to be my girlfriend tonight, so once we're done here I'm going to go to her house and take her on a date and at the end of it I'm going to ask her." I smile. "Awwwhhh that's so cute." She squeals. "Thanks I try." I laugh. She laughs back. I look at her and watch her laughing. I'm glad my brother found a perfect girl. She's pretty, nice, has an awesome personality, rides dirtbikes like Hayes which he find extremely attractive. And most of all she isn't fake. "NASH!" Hali screams. I turn my head back to the road and see a semi truck coming right towards us. I swerve to the left but wasn't quick enough. The truck hit the passenger side which happens to be where Hali is.
  Our car starts rolling about 5 times and comes to a complete stop once we hit the steep ditch. Glass is everywhere and so is all the stuff that was in her middle council. I look over at Hali and her head is outside of the window, her leg is getting crushed by the dashboard. She has blood all over her body. With me I just have a really bad headache. I must have hit my head on the steering wheel. I try to open my door but it's jammed. Fuck! I grab my phone that's shattered and fall 911

911: state your emergency

Me: hi I just got into a really bad accident with my brothers girlfriend and she's unconscious and I feel really lightheaded. She's bleeding really bad.

911: okay sir can you tell us the address you're currently at

Me: umm... SunShine Ave in front of the Pier.

911: okay sir please don't move and we will send an ambulance your way.

I quickly hang up and call Hayes. I tell him everything and he's freaking out. I start to hear the sirens and see them pull up to us. "Sir? Sir where are you?" One of the paramedics yells. "In the driver seat! But get Hali first! Please she's like my sister!" I start crying. The next thing I know the door on the driver side gets ripped off and Hali is getting unstuck and carried out of the car. "NASH? WHERE'S HALI?" I hear Hayes yell. "Oh I'm fine thanks for asking but she's getting put in the ambulance." I say getting out of the car and falling into the ditch.

Hayes' pov:

  I pull onto SunShine Ave and from the far I see a car jammed into the steep ditch by the peer. Please don't be Hali and Nash. God please! I get closer and see it's Hali's grey Jeep Liberty. NO! FUCK! I slam on my breaks once I get closer and jumped out. I ran all the way and see a girl that's unconscious getting out into the ambulance. I hope it's not Hali. "NASH? WHERE'S HALI?!" I yell with tears falling down my face. "Oh I'm fine thanks for asking but she's getting put in the ambulance." He says climbing out of the car. I run up and hug him. He hugs back weakly and the paramedic takes him. "Are you the boyfriend of the girl?" He asks. I nod "Okay son you a ride in the ambulance with her. Or you can go with your brother." I look over at Nash and he points to Hali's ambulance. I nod and run over. I climb in and see my beautiful girlfriend with cuts all over her face, legs, arms and neck. Blood everywhere and her eyes closed. I start to break down. I grab her hand that isn't cut and kiss it while holding it.
   Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People?

  I cried will writing this. I'm sorry! I had to do this because of an invent that's going to happen. Love you❤️
