WAKE UP!

(So this is what Hali's car looks like after they got it out of the ditch)

  Hayes' pov
3 weeks later

Hali hasn't woken up yet. The doctors said she has a broken leg, rib, and a bruised lung and that's she's in a coma and probably won't wake up for about a month. The doctors found a huge piece of glass in her neck and had to do surgery to get it out. So now she has a scar on her neck. I've been sleeping in these god damn uncomfortable chairs ever since she got here. Yes, yes I know what you're thinking "ewww you haven't showered or changed clothes?" Yes I have. When I leave, Nash and Cameron come to watch her. I've cried myself to sleep every night.
   Right now I'm sitting on my phone on twitter and I see the hashtag #prayforhali trending. I click it and see all the photos of her racing, with me, laughing and with her friends. I like some of them. The door opens and in comes a Doctor. "Okay Hayes we have to do one more test and you'll have to step out of the room. It won't take long." The same doctor that helped me, Dr. May said. She's the dr that's been taking care of Hali. I nodded and stepped out of the room. I slide down the wall and put my head in my hands. "Hayes? Is she okay?" I hear a guy say. I look up and see it's Grayson and Ethan. I quickly get up and hug both of them. "She hasn't woken up yet. The dr said that she'll be in a coma for at least a month. She has a broken leg, rib and a bruised lung." I breath out. I see Grayson's face drop and tears form in his eyes. I guess those two got really close. Ethan looks down and shakes his head.  "We're so sorry. We were in New Jersey and then Colorado and Hawaii and we got here as fast as we could." Grayson says really fast. "It's okay guys. It means a lot that you're here now."
   The door to her room opens up again and Dr. May walks out. "You guys can go back in." She smiles and I walk back in seeing my girlfriend now with tubes going down her throat. What in the hell? "Oh my god." Grayson cries. I run out the room and see Dr. May. "What did you do?!" I yell. "Hayes. Honey. Hali wasn't going to make it on her own, so we had to put her on life support." She puts a hand on my shoulder. I nudge her off. "You said it was another test! You liar!" I scream. By now everyone is looking at us. "Hayes! Your girlfriend was going to die! What else did you want me to do? Have her die and have you be heart broken? No I don't want that. Life support will help her! It might take a longer process but it will keep her alive!" Dr. May yells back. I shake my head. "You could have just told me instead of me finding out this way." I say and walk back into the room. I go up to the side of the bed and grab her hand. "Hali please wake up soon I miss you so much. I miss your laugh, your eyes, your voice, the way you roll your eyes at the stupid shit I say. I miss everything you do. I just want to feel your hugs again. These 3 weeks have been so hard and I want you to know I love you an if you decide it's your time already, I understand." I lean down and kiss her forehead with tears falling down my face
"Can you even hear me? If you can squeeze my hand or do something." I say hoping she will. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Hali's pov

I was in Tennessee again on the farm. I was riding my 110 bike around. I saw a ramp and jumped off of it. It was amazing. But then when I blinked I was in a different place. I was with a boy that had blue eyes, three freckles that form a triangle and short spiked up brown hair. "Hali you have to talk to me some time." The dude said. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?" I asked. "Oh don't play stupid. It's me Hayes. Your boyfriend." The Hayes guy says. I nod and blink again but now I see white. Just plain white. I start walking and I start to see a gate. I open it and I see my dad smiling. I run up to him and hug him. "Daddy!" I cry. "Hi hals I've missed you." She kisses my head. "I've missed you too dad." I smile. "What is this place?" I ask. "Oh this is heaven where you shouldn't be. Why are you here?" He asks. "I got into a really bad accident." I look down. "But you're not old enough to drive." He scratches the back of his head. "My boyfriends brother Nash was driving. He took his eyes off the road really quick I think and drifted into the other lane and a semi was coming straight towards us. He tried to get out of the way but the semi hit us on the passenger side which where I was." I explain. "Oh baby." My dad cries.
"Hali you need to go back to earth though." "But why? I've missed you so bad. Mom and her husband left me in alone. I have no one." I say tears building up. "I've been watching over you Hals. Your boyfriend cries every night to sleep because he misses you. But also you won't remember any of our conversation. But it's better than you dead. But anyways here watch this." He points behind me. A little image shows up and it's Hayes in a hospital room with Gray and Eth. "Baby please wake up! I need you. I can't imagine how I'd be if you passed away. I wouldn't be able to live without you. I miss you so much. I need you to wake up. Please wake up for me." I see and hear Hayes cry. He's bawling his eyes out. I look over at Grayson to see him bawling his eyes out too. I see Ethan also crying and he's hyperventilating. My boyfriend and my two best friends need me. "I'll go back." I say. "What?" My dad asks. "I can't stand to see them like this. I need to go back I can't die dad. I won't!" I say and run out of the gate.
All of sudden everything goes black. "Hali I love you please come back to me." I hear but it's faint. Come on Hali open your eyes! "Squeeze my hand if you hear everything I'm saying." I start feeling movement of my palm. I try to squeeze my hand but nothing happens. Hali open your god damn eyes! Can you see your boyfriend needs you?! "Hali please!" I hear Hayes yell. Okay now his voice is much more clear. I try to open my eyes but again nothing happens. I try again and again and again. But then the last try I start to see things. I open my eyes all the way and instantly regret it. White lights are so god damn bright. I open my eyes again and I look at Hayes. He's looking down and crying. I squeeze his hand and he looks up to Grayson. I see Grayson and Ethan point at me. Hayes slowly looks at me and his eyes go wide.
"HALI!" He screams and kisses my forehead. "I thought you were gone! I really did." I try to talk but I feel things in my throat. I start to squirm around. "What?! What is it?" Hayes asks worried. I slowly move my arm and point to the tubes. "Oh I'll get the nurse.

Hayes' pov:

I feel a squeeze on my hand and I look up at Gray and Eth. They both point to Hali and I slowly look at her. Her eyes are open and she's smiling lightly. "HALI!" I scream and kiss her forehead a million times. "I thought you were gone! I really did." I squeeze her hand. She tries to talk but she can't so she starts squirming around. "What?! What is it?" I ask. She slowly point to the tubes in her mouth. "Oh I'll go get the nurse." I let go of her hand and run out of the room. I see Dr. May and run up to her. "Woah Hayes what is it?" "HALI! She's awake!" I squeal. Yes I just squealed. Try having your boyfriend or girlfriend in the hospital for 3 weeks in a coma and not be happy. I'll be waiting. "Oh that's great news! I told you it would help! Let's go get her unhooked." She smiles and we start walking to her room.

3 days later
Hali's pov

I'm very sore. I got released from the hell hole 2 days ago. All I've been doing is laying down and trying to relax. Hayes told me that I would've died if it wasn't for Dr. May by putting me on life support. He said he was angry at her but I knocked some sense into him. Also Dr. May told me to sign up for physical therapy for my leg. She said my rib and lung will take a little bit longer to heal but not long. I'm just very thankful to be alive. And it's all because of Dr. May.

She's back and she's alive! Longer chapter cause I had a snow day and I've been typing all day. Hope y'all liked it. Love you😘 bye my lovelies.
