Neon Trees

(Okay so am I the only one who freaking love Neon Trees? Like their music is soooooooo good! They sing 2 of some old hits like 'Animals' and 'Everybody Talks'. But if you don't know who they are I highly recommend you checking them out. Yes they are an older band but like 2012-2015 old. So not really old but older. Enough with the rambling, here's the update)

   Hali's pov

    "He's a teen a teenager in love! He's a teen a teenager in love. What a tragic attraction. What's the point of romance!" I scream my lungs out. My favorite band is playing on my phone. Hayes thinks they're okay, like biiitttccchhhhhhh! Just okay? Like no boo they are fucking amazing! Sorrynotsorry. Okay so today I go to the doctors to see if my ribs are healing or not. They feel like they are but who knows. Hayes isn't here so I'm having Grayson take me. Him and I have gotten really close but him and Kindra are talking again which makes me happy. Kindra told Cameron that she thinks they should just be friends because they are like brother and sister.
   I'm waiting for Gray to get his thick ass over here. Right on cue the door bell rings. I hop my way over to the door with my crutches and try to open the door but fail. "Come in Gray." I laugh. He opens the door and looks at me but starts to laugh. "What?" I raise an eyebrow. "You couldn't open the door could you?" He laughs. "No now shut up." I glare. He gets out of the way and lets me hop out the door. "Here let me open this door for you." He smirks. "Grayson I will cut you." I glare again. "Okay okay I'm sorry!" He holds his hands up in defense. "So what's up with Ethan? Why isn't he here?" I ask. "Oh um he's with his girlfriend." Gray smiles. "Awww my favorite twins both have girls!" I squeal. He blushes. "Yeah I have Kindra and Ethan has Angelica." Grayson smiles. "Awww. So when you gonna grow some and ask K out?" I wiggle my eyebrows. "Umm about that. I was gonna ask you if you could help me with ideas." He scratches the back of his neck. "Yes! I would love to help!" I smile and he does the same.
   He finally pulls out and starts driving. Once he gets onto the main road I start to breath heavily. "Hali you alright?" Gray asks. "I-I'm fine." I fake smile. "We're not gonna get into a car accident you boob." I laugh. My nickname is boob and his is Grayshit. I see a semi truck and I grab his hand. "Grayson please I'm scared." I start crying. He squeezes my hand. "Hali. It's okay." He looks at me and smiles. My hands start to shake and I start to hyperventilate. Grayson sees and pulls into a parking lot. "Hali come here." Grayson holds his arms out. I climb over the center council and sit on his lap hugging him while crying my eyes out. "Shhh just breath Hali. Just breath." He puts his head on mine. Now you're probably thinking "why are you guys acting like you're dating?" We arent. He's acting like my big brother. Like I said earlier he's almost dating Kindra and I have Hayes who I love with all my heart. I start to slow my breathing and stop crying. "You okay now?" He asks. I nod and he kisses my forehead. "H-Hali? Grayson?!" I hear someone yell. I look out the window and see Hayes, Jaylen and Kindra. I open the door and get out almost falling because I don't have my crutches. "It's not what it looks like guys I promise." I say holding onto the car door. "Here." Grayson gives me my crutches. I hop over to them. "Really? Cause it looks like you were cuddling up to him and he kisses your forehead." Jaylen spats. "Maybe because I got into a fucking car accident and maybe I'm paranoid of that fucking highway and semi trucks! I had a fucking panic attack!" I yell. "Doubt it." She shakes her head.
   "Okay I've got a question for you Jaylen. Why in the hell are you with my boyfriend and you have your arm around his waist? Hmm? Aren't you dating Nash?" I glare. "We were umm... uhh.. I can't say." She looks down. "So. Hayes you cheating on me again?" I look over at Hayes. "No! I was going to surprise you with a dance and give you VIP tickets to Neon Trees before I saw what you and Grayson were doing!" He yells. "What Grayson was doing was calming me down from my panic attack! You were supposed to take me to my doctors appointment but noooo, you had to go out with them. So I called Grayson cause I knew he would drop everything for his best friend. Unlike some people." I yell and shake my head, hopping back to the car. I open the door and throw my crutches into the back seat. I hop in and grab my phone. I look over and see Grayson and Kindra kissing. AWWWW!! GOALS! I quickly take a picture and send it to him.
   I hear the door open. I look over and see it's Hayes. "What?" I ask annoyed. "I'm sorry." He grabs my hand. "Why? Why didn't you take me to my appointment. Why did you go out with Jaylen?" I look up at him mad. "I told you I wanted to surprise you with a dance and tickets to your favorite band." "Well thank you but you didn't have to. Legit don't. I don't want her hands on you. I could see in her eyes that she has feelings for you." I say sternly. "No she's dating Nash." He shakes his head. "Oh really? Have you seen Nash's post on twitter? Look." I pull my phone out and type in Nash's username. Once in pop up I click in and show my phone to Hayes.

Hayes' eyes widen and he looks over to where Jaylen is. She looks up and smiles widely and waves. He awkwardly waves back. "Wow."

 

I updated people's!!! Lil drama with friends in this but next chapter there's gonna be a major cliff hanger so be ready! And do you guys still like this book cause I'm not getting a lot of feedback. So comment if you are or don't. If you don't comment what I should improve so I know what to do to make it better! Love you guys❤️
