Jack woke up on Jackie's couch and streched. He looked into the kitchen and saw Jackie cooking breakfast.
"So, what's for breakfast? " He asked joking as if he had been waiting all day.
"Are pancakes alright? "
"Of course they are! " Jack had forgotten how sad Jackie was until he saw a picture of her and John he pushed it down.
They ate and Jackie thanked him for staying.
As he left he stopped and turned around and kissed Jackie.
"I'm sorry but.. I just kinda... I really like you. "
"Thank you Jack but I'm not ready to date yet but when I am I'll give you a call. "
Kennedy's Home
"Well? Do you gotta date? " Bobby teased.
"No Bob! John broke with Jackie that's why she was upset and had me stay with her! " Jack was starting to fume at Bobby for what he said.
"Alright I didn't know you just said she was upset and needed company!"
Jack got a phone call from Jackie.
"Jack, it's Jackie I need to tell you something. "
"Go ahead fire away. "
"Umm.. I'm going to Paris for the summer. I promise I'll write. "
"Okay. Okay. I promise I'll write to. "
"Good-bye Jack. "
"Bye Jackie. " When he hung up he felt as if he he'd been punched in the gut.
He was wondering if she was ready to go on a date yet. Was he just supposed to ask her out by letter? No. He would wait for her return.
The reason he wanted to wait was because he wanted to see her when he asked her out and do it in person.
