Caroline went t their grandparents for the week leading up to New Years and Jack and Jackie decided to throw a party in some type of effort to smooth things over with Lee.
"Jackie you always look perfect. " Jack said admiring his wife as she put in a jewel necklace.
"Thank you Bunny so do you. "
"That's a lie! " Jack and Jackie laughed. Jackie was wearing a pastel blue dress that was just at her knees with a small silver bead belt.
Jack wore the same thing grey suit with a navy blue tie.
The door bell rang.
"It may be Lee she said she might come early. " Jackie said as she went to get the door.
It wasn't Lee who was at the door though. It was Bobby who seemed to be on the verge of tears.
"Bobby! Bobby what's wrong? " Jackie was shocked at first but then noticed his teary expression.
"Ethel. She umm.. She lost a baby. " Bobby said.
"Oh Bobby we didn't know she was pregnant. But we are so so sorry. " Jackie started to hug Bobby who cried on her shoulder.
"We were so excited for it! " Bobby was sobbing harder.
"Jackie who is at the d-" Jack saw Bobby and Jackie and joined in on the hug.
"Jack me and Ethie lost a baby today. " Bobby said.
"Oh Bob.. We didn't know. "
"I know we we're gonna say it today. "
"Jackie I-" Lee started ri talk but noticed she was interrupting and chimed down.
