Chapter 6

W I L L Y!

The party is out of control. At least, that's what I can tell from the outside.

Andrew and I are currently parked outside the party, watching the sudden flash of lights in the house, and the windows look like they are going to burst. The house is ginormous, with white pillars leading up the front of the house and the black shudders rattling against the house. The music is so loud, I can hear the thump, thump of the beat.

"We going?" Andrew asks as he fingers the door handle. I shrug and open my door. I tug at my dress as we walk toward the door.

"So whose throwing this?" I ask him as we are walking up the steps to the house.

Andrew freezes from ringing the doorbell, but presses it after a moment of hesitation.

"Um," Andrew stops speaking as the door opens and reveals a living nightmare. Guys and girls are all jumping up and down, drinks falling from the cups to the floor. I cringe and look to the guy who opened the door. Then the floor falls away and I feel like monsters from the sea are grappling my insides with their scaly arms and pulling them down. Its James. James effing Craig.

"Hey guys! Welcome to my party!" I make a face as James walks off into his house. I then turn to Andrew.

"Andrew Johnson!" I shout.

"I didn't know." Andrew says slowly.

"Yes you did." I slap Andrews chest and raise an eyebrow.

"No--Alright, yes I knew. But if I told you, you would've have come."

"Your damn right."

"But...give the party a chance. It will orient you with everyone and you—you need to get on correct terms with James."

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I did not agree to this!" I shout as Andrew pushes me into the house and closes the door. I go to turn around, but get swept up in the songs and laughter in the crowd. Everyone's just let lose. Maybe I should.

After all I am a teenager, who just moved, and lost her father five years ago. I think I deserve to let lose. Who cares about who is throwing the party? It's a party!

So after minutes, I'm in the crowd, laughing with Andrew as he makes silly faces at me. Somewhere we lose track of time and I find myself a little drunk.

"And that time when you fell out of the tree! I almost laughed my balls off!"

"You don't have any balls!" Andrew cries as he sits across from me on the floor in the corner. A girl is hanging over Andrew, while we revisit the past.

"Oh, I don't." I say with a sad face. He laughs and after a few, I laugh with him. I laugh until I feel someone's eyes on me and I turn around to see Parker in the corner, watching me with cool eyes. Something about the way he is positioned and looking at me makes me shiver. He's so...hot. Why does the guy I hate have to be so hot?

Apparently, something I did made him smirk and walk over to me. I stand up without meaning to and grab Andrew.

"Let's go dance!" I shout and move him over to the dance floor quickly. We just reach the dance floor when I feel a hand rip me backwards and into the hands of Parker Cipriano.
