Engaged to a Baozi (Exo Xuimin)

Chapter 11

Xiumin's POV

"Y-yeah."

With that, she beamed at me then proceeded to arrange her stuff. I, on the other hand felt utterly disappointed of my stuttered response and excused myself. "Pardon." Once I got out from the tent I head straight ahead for the thick tree line and stopped as I felt far enough from the site.

I groaned as my fist bore contact with some random tree's hard trunk over and over again until I felt my my fist flaring from soreness, skin slightly bleeding. "Seriously, Kim Minseok? Y-yeah?" I imitated my tone from earlier mocking my way of speech.

I mean like I seriously must have appeared like a whim in front of Yujin because of my response right? That was so not manly of me. I didn't even get to tell her the words I want to express. The things I wanted her to know.

"Why am I so lame?"

"Xiumin, fucking idiot Baozi." A slight chuckle came from me as I said that pet name, a sudden picture of Yujin smiling appeared in my head and I frowned immediately. "The heck?"

I once again punched a random tree and slightly winced at the contact but I didn't let it get to me as I kept on repeating the same process. 

I wanted to tell her that the kiss made me feel something. I wanted to tell her that she completely mesmerized me. I wanted her to know how much she affected me. How that kiss made me feel something more than what she thought I wanted earlier. But noooo, I just had to be that dummy and ruin the perfect moment of us being alone with a 'Y-yeah'.

I halted from punching the trees when I got exhausted and my hands look like i just killed a person, bare handed. All bloody and messed up. However being the one who doesn't even have time to feel hurt now, I ran both hands through my hair, the contact slightly making it ache.
"Great going moron. Now she'll never be able to know that you felt sparks."

As cheesy as it sounds, yes I felt sparks. I didn't want to admit it at first but I felt it. Its sudden I know, actually I don't know. What if I told her how I actually felt? How will she react? The audition here is, what then? What will happen to us. Would I have wanted for something more? "Aish, I don't know anymore"

"Oppa?" A familiar voice of a woman came out from behind me. Without even looking back. I already know, Yoona. But even though I mentally rolled my eyes, my face had this 'smile' that greeted her. "Ne Sweetheart?" 

She approaches me with a concerned look and dropped the pile of wood in her arms, that I assumed as the fire wood for tonight. "Are you alright? Were you talking to someone?"

Still choreographically beaming from ear to ear, I placed both my hands in the pocket in attempts to hide the slightly skinned flesh. "Yes, um I was just practicing my speech, nothing to worry about." I reassured.

She seemed to have bought it and picked up the pile of wood in her arms as she walked back to the site. Not before inviting me with her though, on which I did gladly obliged to. 

When I arrived, we all started preparing stuff in means of survival. We all had water intact in our bags, still uneasy about it being lacking. The fire had been lit, that'll last out for tonight. As of food we've decided on berries and fruits that nature could provide.

Everything went by casually, except for the fact that I felt utterly uncomfortable within Yujin's presence. Though, it's not like I can shoo her away just because I feel unsettled right?

That'd just be plain suspicious.

During the whole conversation, I can't help but have my eyes lay on her. Why is it that she tends to be gorgeous without even trying? She's perfect. Too perfect that it challenges me to find the flaw in her. 

Though, I'm afraid that I might not find anything though.

Yujin's POV

"What the heck do you mean by that?" A very stunned Suho asked, all while picking up the tranquilizers and analyzing them thoroughly. "I mean it the way it exactly sounds like," I trailed off in a staid manner.

Picking up the tranquilize from the table that I laid plenty of those down to and continued my words, "You're going to use these to sedate animals."

"Before choosing to be here,  I looked into this domain, I just had to make sure that this is the best death trap—for of course your most unforgettable camping experience."

A devious smirk snaked it's way to my mind as I observed their horrified looks and hopeful eyes, pleading for me to be lying of some sort. Typically, I enjoyed every moment of it,  the way their once beautiful and calm features crunch up to something distorted never failed to satisfy me.  I would never want to stop.

"This nature of this jungle consists of 65% poisonous plants and fruits, so picking something for food must be done meticulously. The species here has too many wild animals that you might want to just sedate them using these." I pointed at the line of sedatives. You cants actually blame me for being an animal lover now can you?  "I don't want any animals to be harmed so please refrain from using violence."

"Tell that to the animals." Yoona applied rudely.  Making everyone look at her and she just exclaimed her complaints at me. Ah, the kind and angel faced lady finally snapped. About time. "What?  You don't expect me to want and just live with this.  I did not want this in the first place, you crazy bitch. "

"Language." Suho hissed. 

"We didn't want this either. We were all tricked to come here.  Fighting and pointing fingers will do us no good." Hot choco bear—Ahem— Kai reacted.

"How long do you plan to keep us in here by thew way?" Kyungsoo asked making everyone look at me in agreement and curiosity.  On which I responded with a beam. 

"That's the fun part!!" I exclaimed.

"You see we are currently in the heart of the forest.  I don't even know a way out myself.  I plan on enjoying this as much as I could."

"But to whoever finds a way out will be awarded for his/her efforts and intelligence. You can wish for ANYTHING I'll give it to you.  Wholeheartedly."

Judging by how their expressions showed a determined one,  I can conclude that they all have something they want.

I cant wait to see what kind of entertainment they have in store for me.
