14-I'll Protect You

Clementine POV:
2 days later...
I wake up with Gabe next to me. His arm around my waist. I turn around facing him. He is so gorgeous when he sleeps. I kiss his cheek,and right when I was about to get out off bed,I felt an arm around my waist.

Gabe pulled me on the bed and I was on top of him. We both laugh as he did so. We stare at each other for while then I lean in and kiss him. Gabe was kind of surprise then he kissed back. His arms were around my waist,I put my arms around his neck.

He sat up with me on his lap. My arms were still around his neck and my legs were around his waist. I pull him in the kiss more,his arms were around my bottom this time. We pull out and stare deeply in each others eyes. "I love you"I said. "I love you too"Gabe said.

We both lean in slowly then we both hear a cry. I groan and got off of Gabe. "I'm going to go check on them"I said.

"Okay"Gabe said

I walk to the room to see Lee crying in his crib. I walk up to the crib and pick him up. "What's wrong goofball?" I ask holding Lee. (A\N:I know she called Aj 'Goofball' but I thought it'll be cute if she called her own son that). He starts whimpering a bit,I rock him a little and he calms down. His eyes were open a bit,he looks at me with his yellowish eyes.

I kiss his forehead gently. He smells really nice. I gently pick Gabrielle up from her crib. I walk to the room with both of the twins in my arms. Gabe notices and smiles. He takes Gabrielle from my arm.

Normal POV:
Clementine and Gabe sit on their bed with their babies in their arms. "She looks like you when she sleeps"Clementine said. "She does..."Gabe said then he kisses Gabrielle's forehead. Gabrielle starts cooing a bit,Gabe puts his finger in on her tiny little hand and she holds on.

"She loves her daddy a lot"Clem said."Looks like she does"Gabe said chuckling. Lee looks at his parents for a while,he was smiling. Clem noticed and tickles under his chin gently.

The infant smiles and laughs. Clem chuckles quietly. Then Javi came in the room. "Hey everything okay in here?"Javi asked.

"Yeah,everything is okay"Clementine said. Javi walks to the bed and looks at the newborns. He smiles. "Wanna hold one?"Gabe asked.

"Sure"Javi said. Gabe gently puts Gabrielle in Javier's arms.

Javi looks at the newborn with a smile. She squirms in his arms and made cooing noises. Gabrielle opened her eyes looking at her uncle. Javi smiled.

"She acts like you Gabe when you were born....." Javi said as he rocked the newborn.

"Uncle Javi...."Gabe said crossing his arms smiling.

"Its true,when I first held you,you kept on looking at me squirming around in my arms." Javi said as he gives Gabrielle back to Gabe.

"How you two holding up,especially with Lee and Gabrielle born now?"Javi asked.

"It'll be hard for a while"Clementine said"But I think it will be fine,they'll survive,I know it"

Javi smiled. "OK you guys gotta get up and eat breakfast" Javi said then he left the room.

Clem and Gabe both got up and went downstairs. David was sitting on the couch talking to Tripp. While Javi and Conrad set the table

"Hey Clem we could use your help in the kitchen"Eleanor said

"But I don't know how to cook"Clementine said

"We'll teach you"Eleanor said

"Hey David,can you hold Lee?"Clementine said turning to David

David was surprised then smiled."I will love to hold my grandson.."David said. Clementine gives David the infant. He smiles as he holds him.

Clementine goes into the kitchen with Eleanor and Kate. 

In the kitchen...
"Those kids of yours.... They're really cute"Eleanor said

"Thanks..."Clementine said"I actually thought that I was going to die.."

"Why would you think that Clem?"Kate asked

"Because, I knew this woman she was pregnant too,AJ's mother,after she gave birth she got really sick"Clementine said"She died with Aj crying in her arms.. She turned then I had to shoot her. While I was giving birth to the twins,I thought I was going to die. With Gabe holding my hand. And I didn't get to meet my kids"

"We're glad you're alive,you're a pretty tough girl,I know you're a good mom too..."Eleanor said smiling

Clementine smiled and started help Kate cook.

Outside the kitchen

"So Gabe, are you and Clem planning on having another one soon?"Javi asked

"I don't think so.... We can't let another baby into this world.." Gabe said as he fed Gabrielle with her bottle.

"I know buddy.."Javi asked "You're just trying to keep Clem and the kids alive"

Gabe nodded and looked down at his daughter.

"Hey Kid" Tripp said"Me and Conrad didn't get a chance to know what their names are..."

"The girl's name is Gabrielle Mariana Garcia"Gabe said"The boy's name is Lee Kenny Garcia"

"Nice names.."Tripp said.

"I-I need to do something..."Gabe said getting up.

He went upstairs with Gabrielle still in his arms. Gabe goes into the nursery. He saw his bag in the corner of the room. Gabe unzipped the bag and saw of picture Mariana when she was young.

Gabe smiled at the picture. He puts the picture next to his daughter's crib. Gabe looks at Gabrielle kicking her foot in her pink onesie. Her eyes were tight closed.

Gabe kisses her forehead. He grabs a pacifier and puts it in Gabrielle's mouth gently. "You're really beautiful princess"Gabe said"I'm glad you and your brother are here,you two are the second best things that happened to me. I promise that I will protect you"

Clementine comes in the room with Lee in her arms. She kisses Gabe's forehead.

"Spending time with our daughter?"Clementine asked.

"Yeah..."Gabe said"I can't help it babe,she's beautiful.... Like you...."

"I can't help it when I hold Lee"Clementine said"He is handsome.... Like you"

Gabe smiled. "Let's go eat breakfast...."He said getting up.

"Okay"Clementine said

They both held hands as they left the nursery.
