"Lavender?"
The girl broke away from the hug and looked at Beth and nodded. Beth ran to her and hugged her and the girl returned the hug, yuk all this hugging is gonna make me vomit.
"Ok enough with the hugging already anymore and I think I'm gonna hurl" Dark says
I give Dark a look to say thank you then looked at the two girls break away from their hug.
"So Lavender, why did you attack Anti?" Delirious asked
"Because he's a Demon! Cold hearted Demon" she snapped
"You're in a room full of Demons" Vanoss said
"Uh minus me I'm not" Mini said raising his hand
"Your gonna have to have a better reason then that" I say
"I'm an assassin ok? I was assigned to kill him" she snapped
"Who?" Vanoss asked
"I'm not allowed to say, it's the assassin code to never reveal their clients" she replied
"If you don't your gonna be dead" Dark threatened
"Over my dead body she will" Vent said standing between Dark and Lavender
"Alright break it up we aren't getting anywhere bickering at each other" Beth snapped
They step away from each other still with death glares. Lavender rolled her eyes
"Alright I was assigned to kill Anti because he killed Warfstache"
"But he didn't kill Warfstache, Vanoss did" Dark said
Lavender looks at me and I grin at her.
"Looks like your facts are wrong" I chuckle
"N.....Nate said it was you" she said
"Wait, what do you mean by Nate?" Dark asked
"I..... Said too much, I have to go" Lavender says
"What but we have to catch up and talk about everything we missed" Beth says almost in tears
"I.....I can't I'm sorry" Lavender says and began to walk out the door but was stopped by someone standing in front of her
"Get out of my way" she warned
Delirious just stood there with his arms crossed
"I said get out of my way"she warned again moving her hand toward her dagger
He still stood there
"If you want to fight your way out there is a fighting ring down stairs" Vanoss said
"Well what do ya say flower, wanna dance?" Delirious says in a sassy tone
She looked at him with a death stare
"Lead the way" she replied
They began walking down to the fighting ring
"I gotta see this" Mini said following them
I looked at the others who all shrugged and followed after Mini.
We made it down to the fighting ring and sat down to watch the show
"You ready to dance?" Lavender asked with a smirk
"Are we gonna fight or just chat?" Delirious replied putting up his fists And bouncing around like a boxer
Lavender just stood still watching him until he finally swung at her but she leaned back like in the Matrix, yes I've seen the Matrix, then stood straight again. Delirious seemed dumbfounded by her move then she did a backflip and kick Delirious knocking him to the ground.
"Had enough?" She grinned
Delirious had trouble standing up, so he nodded his head in defeat.
"Well that was quick" Mini said
"Hey Anti I never seen you fight hand to hand come on give it a go" Jimmy suggested
I nod and walked into the ring
"Now no daggers" I say to her
"Not gonna even touch it" she replied and stood there watching me
I just stood there too and she gave me a confused look but kept her pose. Through my eyes I could see all her possible moves and outcomes. We just stood there.
"Will someone swing already" Delirious shouts
As soon as he said it Lavender swung at me and I dodge it. She looks at me and swings again but every time she strikes I always dodged, I could see frustration plastered on her face. I give her a grin and my eyes began to glow, she look at me trying to figure out what I will do but she found nothing. I open my hands and a gust of air pushed her back hitting against the side of the fighting ring and falling in the floor.
"Hey that's cheating!" Mini shouted
"No he used her strength against her" Vanoss replied
"He studied her moves and defensive coordination and used it to his advantage" Dark added
Lavender stood up holding her arm then turned to face me
"Well played" she said with a grin holding out her hand
I take it and shake it
"Your not to bad yourself" I reply
And we both walked out of the ring and the others followed us up stairs.
So that happened and Lavender decide to stay and relax a bit. Beth and Vent talked to her a lot catching up with one another while Delirious was getting picked on by Mini about being beaten by a girl. Vanoss was in the kitchen, Dark was in the game room and me I was just relaxing, I decided to check on Jack and brought up the screen it reveal Jack having fun playing games until something caught my eye. There was a shadow demon standing behind him watching him. My eyes widen and worry took over my body. The Demon turned to face me then grinneds and disappeared. I felt pain on my stomach and i clutched it I watch Jack and his stomach began to bleed. I look down at mine and seen the same as Jack.
This isn't good I say and teleport to him quickly. Jack glanced at me all of a sudden in his room then seen me bleeding and looked at himself, his eyes widened and he collapsed to the floor.
I run to him and teleport the both of us back to Vanoss. We teleported right in front of Vanoss and I collapsed to the floor. My eyes flicker and my power slowly began to drain. No no no please no, I look at Jack and his skin turned pail. Vanoss rushed and helped Jack taking him to the medical room and I remained on the kitchen floor, my powers draining even more, this can't be good, the only reason my powers drain only means I'm dying and that means Jack is too.
