Little Mind Game

Nick turned off the car as he stared in awe at the large towering house in front of them. A nice silver car sat in the driveway ahead of them, yet Nick still looked at it all. Melody took out her earbuds and stepped out of the car. She grabbed her single book bag and put it on. Nick got out and opened the door to the back seat. Tommy and Shelby, both were still asleep, as usual. Nick left the door open for the cool breeze to blow in, and to hopefully wake them up.

"Should we go ring the doorbell?" Melody asked. Nick looked over and jumped a little, as he did not see her there before.

Nick nodded, and they both trotted up to the door. Melody rang the doorbell which gave a sweet tune, then footsteps started to sound on the other side. The door was a dark oak, making it seem as if it were made of chocolate. The house itself was a clean white, with no blemish on its tiles. Soon the door opened, having Dawn on the other side. He smiled with his black hair fluffed up, and his black and blue headphones around his neck. He wore a black jacket with a blue undershirt, black jeans, and white vans.

"Hey guys." Dawn said.

"Hey Dawn." Nick replied.

"Hey." Melody mumbled.

"Come in!" Dawn immediately said. He smiled.

Melody and Nick walked in, seeing the ginormous house that lied ahead if they. They were surprised that they would stay in it. As they're home. Dawn led them into the kitchen which dropped into a large living room. It contained a beautiful kitchen with a large island counter in the middle of the room. The living room on the other hand, had a large flat screen tv and two soft brown sofas; in which, Uni and Cory slept on one of them. Uni laid on top of Cory as Cory put his arm on Uni's chest. It seemed Uni's blue, fluffed up hair would get in Cory's face, but it hadn't.

They both slept soundly as Melody smirked taking a picture. Nick rolled his eyes smiling and Dawn just sat on the other couch. Nick then started to lightly shake Cory, mumbling a few words. He said, "Cory....Hey! It's me...Nick...and Melody...wake up!" Cory didn't move. He still shut his eyes asleep. Melody rolled her eyes and then shook Cory wildly. "Hey bonehead! Wake up!" She exclaimed.

Cory shot up making Uni fall of the couch. His dirty blonde hair stuck up on all ends, his glasses halfway off his face. Wearing his white t-shirt and black shorts he sat up looking at Melody and Nick. Nick nervously laughed and Melody smirked. Cory glared at her then looked at Uni. He sat up on the ground with his glasses on and his blue hair looking fine. He wore a blue open flannel with a black t-shirt that had a large overwatch sign on the front, and of course the shirt was Cory's. They both stood up said their hello's and smiled.

"So where's Tommy and Shelby?" Uni suddenly asked. "Probably still sleeping in the car," Nick replied.

They all decided to head out to the car to get the two. Nick leading the group, looked into the backseat, seeing no Tommy or Shelby. Suddenly Nick heard a yell and a laugh behind him. He quickly turned around seeing Shelby on Tommy's shoulders having her hands up like a taxidermic bear. She did a fake roar, and laughed. Everyone laughed then they said their hello's.

They all headed inside after grabbing the suitcases in the trunk and placing them upstairs. Most people shared rooms and some didn't. The people who didn't were the ones who seemed to want to be alone. That was only a few people though. Now that everything was put in everyone's room, they all went downstairs to play video games and eat.

Cory ordered 3 pizzas, one plain, one pepperoni, and one pineapple because why not? After he made the call, Dawn and Melody agreed to drive to the airport and pick up Ashlie, Calla and AJ. They left, leaving Shelby, Tommy, Uni, Cory, and Nick at home to play video games. They played Call of Duty on the Xbox that Cory had just bought. Shelby was on a rampage killing everyone in site with her machine gun, as Tommy and Uni seemed they would rage quit at any second. Nick laughed at their childish whines and Cory just concentrated on getting rid of Shelby.

They played until Shelby heard a noise, she stopped. Just in time for Cory to round the corner and kill her. He shouted in a small celebration, as Shelby didn't care. She only wanted to focus on the noise. "Shelby? You okay?" Nick asked her. She ignored his question still keeping her senses on the source of this mysterious noise. Cling! Clang! "There it is! Did you hear it guys?!" She exclaimed. "What the hell?" Cory said, pausing the game and keeping quiet.

"It's probably just a mouse guys, we shouldn't worry so much," Tommy said but then was cut off by Cory shushing him. They all stopped and listened carefully. Cling! Clang! "It sounds like something tin," Shelby said. She quickly went to the stairs. "Shelby! Wait!" Uni called as they all followed her up the stairs to investigate the noise.
