Little Mind Game

|| Chapter ~ 4 ||

The pizza soon arrived with everyone now growing tired, with night growing near everyone decided that it was time for bed. They all headed up to their rooms, doing their nightly routine before bed. Melody and AJ went to their rooms first, got changed and soon went to bed, with two single beds in their room. Calla and Ashlie shared a room with two single beds. Dawn had his own room since he was a little conscious about himself and everyone agreed to him having his own room. He had one twin bed and a small bathroom.

Uni and Cory shared another room together, with two single beds. Finally Shelby, Tommy, and Nick shared the last bedroom. With a bunk bed and another bunk bed, Shelby slept on one, and Tommy and Nick slept on the other. Shelby didn't mind sleeping in a room with Tommy and Nick, like how Dawn didn't mind being alone in one room.

Calla rubbed her eyes, sitting up, and looking around the room. She looked out the window, as the moon shined brightly into the room. It was dark around her, and silent. She got up and decided to grab a glass of water. She crept passed Ashlie trying not to wake her, as she creaked open the door. Calla then quietly went down the stairs and into the kitchen, to only be startled by a pair of warm and tough hands on her shoulders.

"Where you goin sweetcheeks~?" The voice asked. It was deep and menacing like, however, she felt she had known it from somewhere before. "J-Just g-getting a dr-drink of w-water," Calla stuttered. Her hands began to sweat as she felt more nervous than anything before. "Why don't you come back to the room, we can play together~. Just a little bit," it spoke again. Calla's eyes widened.

She quickly pushed the person away, into the darkness, as she headed for the light of the over head hanging lights. She flicked them on, only providing some light to the room. The person stayed in the darkness, their eyes red like blood, shining through the dark of the room. Suddenly Dawn came into the room behind her, yawning. "What's going on?" He asked still sleepy. Calla tensed, turning her gaze to Dawn. He raised a brow, Calla came him a warm smile, "Just getting some water, is all!"

Dawn nodded then headed back upstairs, Calla turned back to the eyes. Now we're now gone, without any trace left of them. Who the hell was that? Calla then got her water and went back up stairs. Soon falling back to sleep.

Tommy's stomach growled, "Cripes! Where can you get some food around here?" Shelby shrugged, slipping her black and red flannel on. Tommy put on his mask, making it above his mouth to only cover his nose and eyes. Nick came out of the bathroom, having a towel around his waist. "I saw a diner like 10 minutes from here, while we were on the way here yesterday," he said smiling. "Well if course you saw it! We were frickin asleep most of the time!" Tommy exclaimed, a tiny of aggravation in his voice.

Nick raised a brow, "What's his problem?" Shelby laughed a little, then hugged Tommy. "He's just hangry is all," she said. "What does 'hangry' mean?" Nick asked, seeing it as some made up word Shelby created. "It means when your hungry and angry at the same time. I'm just hungry since I didn't really sleep last night," Tommy explained. Shelby smiled, then looked at Nick. "You gonna get dressed so we can go or..?" Shelby trailed off as Nick began to cut her off. "I'm not like this, so yes I'm gonna get dressed. Just close your eyes!" Nick exclaimed. Shelby smiled, then Tommy put his hands over her eyes.

"Hey Dawn..?" Calla asked shyly. Dawn turned around and raised a brow, "Yeah?" Calla hesitated about asking, still scared of the thought. Yet, she still went on, "When you found me last night...in the kitchen...did you...see the red eyes at all?" Dawn's eyes widened at the words that came out of her mouth. Red eyes...

"Nope! Didn't see any," he said quickly. Calla slowly nodded, then headed back off to the rest of the group. Dawn sighed with relief, then thought about it again. Red eyes..., he thought. They felt familiar to him, something evil hidden behind them. Dawn shook it off, thinking he would analyze it later.
