I impatiently watch the clock. 8:59... 8:59... wait, wait, nope, still 8:59. I let my mind wander through my life. I was a quite silent girl, never caring about other's thoughts. Wait a second, it's the moment of truth! "3...2...1...it's 9:00!" I whisper. Two people appear as soon as I said "9:00." I stare at them. I ask,"Who are you?"
One person, I guess a woman, piped up,"Look, Dibien, she has your eyes."
The other person, I guess Dibien, responded to my question,"We are your parents."
"Then what's my real name?"
"Liluagwa."
"My parents call me Alisha."
"Since your use to those names, Lola."
"Okay, mom, dad, who am I?"
"Liluagwa, the missing daughter of futuristic people."
I don't have a clear idea, but it's a idea, foggy or not. It was I was from the future, but somehow ended up here. Divine said,"Lola, come, let's go."
That made me want to scream, "Are you going to kidnap me! Have this all been a plot?" I let the word "plot" slip, and the woman laughed, "It was a plot that brought you here, sweetie. A plot to keep us from keeping their daughter. So come, let's go!" The woman pulled out a cellphone like item, and pushed a couple buttons.
Off to change my life.
