Hello and welcome to you, whoever and wherever you are. My name is Stephen, I'm 43 years old and I live in Cambridge, UK, with my wife and two teenage children.

What is such a tired, ancient relic doing on Wattpad I hear you ask? Well, truth be told, I came on here to see if I could get some feedback on 'School Spirit 1989', a book that I'd written and, as the reviews received so far has been mind-blowingly positive, I'm very glad I signed up.

School Spirit 1989

This is an "incredibly funny" romantic comedy- a will they/won't they epic set across the entirety of the year. Don't listen to me though, read the feedback from people who've finished it: "I loved School Spirit 1989. It was incredibly funny, dark and real."
"I can't believe it's over. This story was so incredible that I can't even begin to describe how much I fell in love with it. It had everything I've ever wanted in a book all rolled into one and I've been enthralled every moment."
"I think this is one of the stories I will read and re-read again and again."
"I thought it was a wonderful story. The best part was that it was all believable...In all, it was the best bitter-sweet experience I ever had :-)."
"I enjoyed the whole book. It's light-hearted, with lots of humor and just a touch of absurdity :-)....though I did have tears in my eyes occasionally. . ."
"A wonderful story."

There's some other stuff on here- mainly random humorous writing.

Hi!

I'm best known here for Not Safe for Work {Watty, 2016}. If you haven't checked it out, you should because it'll knock your socks off. Just kidding, please keep your socks on, especially if your feet smell.

I'm currently working on a sequel to Not Safe for Work called The Last Sex Tape, which I'll start posting in December, 2017.

I also wrote Who, What, When, Where, Why Bot {Featured, 2017}. This was my first science fiction story, but I'm planning to write more sci-fi soon. Unless the robots rise up and start writing their own novels. Then I'll probably stop writing sci-fi so I can help stop a Skynet situation from happening.

I take my humor dry with a side of pop culture.

Reading requests? Sure! Happy to read your work. A few simple rules:

1. Be polite when you ask
2. I only read English
3. Open to all genres, but I prefer humor, mysteries/thrillers, and sci-fi
4. I'll read at least one chapter

More about me?

I live in Los Angeles with my wife, Christina, and our dog, Mortimer. Pro tip: never name your pet after a villain from an '80s Eddie Murphy comedy. You've been warned.

I went to law school, which was a terrible idea. I was a journalist for about a decade, which was a slightly better idea. These days, I'm a ghostwriter. BOO!

I'll watch anything with Ryan Gosling. When I was 12, I played a giant raccoon in a parade for a Korean amusement park. I've been tear-gassed twice. I try and walk five miles per day. I'm a vegetarian, unless ribs are on the menu, then I might have a rib, because nobody's perfect.

I drink too much coffee, but on the upside I share the strange conversations I have with baristas every Monday in a series called Coffee Talk.

I am the author of the slacker noir Murder and Other Distractions {self-published, 2012, available on Amazon}

I LOVE it when readers comment, so PLEASE tell me what you think!
