Currently revising "Color" to share a message that discrimination is NOT acceptable. Color is the story about overcoming hate against the greatest of odds.

I'm also working on an original poetry book, titled "Poetry for the Heart and Soul", and I'm an active member of the Academy of American Poets.

Yep, I grew on the Jersey shore. Nope, it was nothing like the show. 😂

I've faced my share of discrimination 😩; more than most, less than some. There are hints of my experiences in Color - both positive and negative.

Presently, I live in Pennsylvania where I'm revising Color for an August 2020 book launch. Pre-marketing, pen name acquisition, and website setup begin in January 2020. 😃

The greatest struggle I've faced - my mother falling down her basement steps and becoming partially paralyzed. She is my inspiration for writing historical fiction: To capture the past. To show despite great suffering, there is always hope. My other inspiration is my brother, Joe, with Down Syndrome.

When I was 7 I thought I would grow up to be an author. I was wrong. I am a mechanical engineer. But some part of me won't let that little 7 year old dream just pass by, so here I am, trying desperately to spew out some good stories.

I have a Wattpad goal to attempt to write something for every genre. Stay tuned to see how that goes.

A bit about me:
As stated above, I am a mechanical engineer, but I also have degrees in music and French (which are out of use). I live in the country with my mad scientist husband and criminally insane cat. I love Mexican food, cheese, and coffee dearly. I have an innate need to constantly try new things so my hobbies range from growing food and making wine, to archery and yoga. I also play piano, enjoy boating, painting, and traveling.
