No Calm, Just A Storm

Breaking News: WWE has suspended  Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 30 days effective immediately, for her first violation of the company's wellness policy.

(Dean P.O.V)

It was everywhere. Literally, everywhere. Wherever you went, I guarantee you would hear about it. I'm not one to normally use the Internet often, but I heard that it was all over social media. It was on every sports related website. Millions & millions of people were talking all about it. You'd have to live up under a rock to not hear about this news. And if you were a fan of Paige, this would be the worst kind of news to ever receive...maybe.

It was highly unlike Paige to do something like this. She and I haven't seen each other ever since we fell out. We didn't leave off on good terms either, but that doesn't change the fact that she was the one who I once called my best friend. Therefore, I know her better than most people do. So, I know that something isn't right with this suspension. In my eyes, Paige is wrestling royalty. Just by being up on the main roster for 2 years, she already has a Hall of Fame worthy career. She's been wrestling ever since the age of 13, not many people can say that they've been wrestling since that age. She's so talented, she could wrestle circles around all of the other female superstars and even some male superstars, including me.

Paige always played by the rules. She was always on time and ready. She never missed any shows. She's never acted out, well...when it comes to work, she's never acted out. Let's just say that Paige has always had a good reputation. And a suspension for violating the wellness policy isn't the best thing to add to your resume. It's also hard to come back from. I needed to see what the problem was. I needed to know what's going on with Paige, because I cared about her. That will never change. She was there for me in my time of need, now I need to step up and do the same. Even if she hates me. I needed to go and see her.

"Where are you going?" Nikki asked me as I put on my leather jacket. "I'm going to see a friend." "What friend?" She asked me another question and I let out a sigh. "If you must know, I'm going to see Paige. Is that okay?" I asked her and she gave me a look while placing her hand on her hip. "Are you serious? You're really asking me if I'm okay with you going to see her? You already know what I'm going to say." She said to me. "If you said "yes" then I'm going and if you said "no" I'd still be going. What difference does it make?" I asked her.

"You're an asshole, Dean." "I'm an asshole?" "Yes, you're an asshole! You were just gonna up and leave Tiffany and I without saying a word. If I hadn't noticed you, and asked where you were going, you wouldn't have told me!" Nikki yelled. "That's a lie, I was too going to tell you, I just hadn't because you had already came in here." "Mhm, whatever. Go and fuck your pale slut again." Nikki said and then she scoffed. "Are you serious, Nicole? We're married and all of the stuff from the past is done and over with now. Don't you trust me?" I asked her. "I want to trust you but it's hard knowing that you're literally about to fly down to Florida, just to see her." "It's more than that, Nicole." I said.

"More?! What more could it be? Are you going there to have sex? Knock her up so you can have another baby? Is that what it is?!" "She needs me!" I shouted to get Nikki to shut up. "She fuckin needs me...She's hurt...she's probably alone. She's lost...she's confused...and she's probably on the verge of losing everything she has...there's no calm for her, there's been a storm in her life ever since what happened back at the restaurant...and it's all because of me. She was there for me when I lost everything, so I've got to do the same because I care about her. She's my friend, one of my best friends. I'd be wrong not to try and help no matter how much she hates me or no matter how much you may hate her. You just have to accept that, Nicole. I love you and I love my daughter, and I'll be there for the two of you for the rest of my life. Paige said she would do the same for me, and believe me, she has. So, I'm doing it for her now..
If you can't accept that, then.." I continued on as Nikki has cut me off.
