Justin's POV:

It had been a week since the crash, Rosalinda still hadn't woken up. She had come out of surgery that night, they had taken her into theatre to stop her internal bleeding.

I hadn't left her side since then, I would shower in the private shower in Rose's room. I would get my mother to bring me fresh clothes, I was living in a chair in the corner of her room.

I had paid for her to have the best treatment in the hospital.

I refused to leave her side, refused to sleep or go to the cafeteria in the hospital for some food. Even though I adamantly suggested them not to ring Rose's grandparents, they did anyway.

That choice wasn't down to me. There were paparazzi outside, waiting to get the scoop on one of America's biggest bachelors being in a car accident.

The doctors already said when Rosalinda was well enough, we could leave out of the back of the hospital. I couldn't expose her to flashing lights and chaos when she's recovering.

Rose's nurse brought me in a tray of food, I thanked her quietly as I sat next to Rose's hospital bed. I placed the tray on my lap, the Nurse leaving the room and closing the door.

"Hey look, they gave me a pudding cup this time" I laughed, holding it up to Rose as if she was there to laugh with me.

I stared at her lifeless body for a second, before sighing and dropping my arm. "Please wake up soon, I miss you" I whisper.

I sat back in the chair, opening the pot of hot soup, dipping my spoon into it. I took a spoonful and put it into my mouth, I grimaced, hospital food wasn't the best. But could I complain, not really. I continued to eat my food, daydreaming and staring at the wall.

I heard movement next to me, and froze, spoon in my mouth. I turned my head to the side, looking at Rose to make sure I wasn't hearing things.

She was still lifeless and unmoving, turns out I was going crazy. I wanted her to wake up so badly, I was starting to imagine that she was.

But apparently I wasn't imaging it, since I heard a small moan of pain next to me. I looked over again, to see Rose stirring awake as if she had woken up from a nap. I didn't know if my eyes were deceiving me, I stared at her in shock.

"Rosie?" I whispered to her, moving closer to the bed, resting my hands on her back as she sits up, wincing in pain.

"Ow" she groans out, clutching her stomach in pain. I lay her carefully back down on the bed.

"Careful, you've been stitched up, you had surgery" I say, panicked, as she winces with pain. "I'll get a doctor you really need some painkillers"

I get up from the chair, running over to the door and opening it. The Nurse is stood near the desk over the lobby, writing onto a piece of paper.

"Rose is awake!" I shout to her, she looks up at me in shock before putting down her pen and jogging over to the room.

"That's impossible, that's such a fast recovery" she whispers. "I'll need to call the doctor in, to take a proper look at her and set her on some medication. Make sure she's fit to sit up"

She makes her way into the room, going over to the bed. She smiles warmly at Rose who looks groggy and confused. Poor girl looks like she can't even process where she is or what's going on.

"Rosalinda! It's wonderful to see you've woken up, my gosh, I'll need to get you some pain killers, Doctor Rosser will be here in a second to look you over properly. Can you talk? Is there anywhere that's most painful?" The Nurse asks. I hover over her shoulder watching as Rose tries to find her voice.
