Chapter 1-Siblings!

It's the day that we have to leave to go home and I say bye to Matty, Elena, Toby, one of the newest people to our group, Dani. She's a beta for the pack that I will run when we graduate from here, well co-beta since in my pack there's going to be 2 instead of one like there always is, the other beta is Toby. I found out as soon as I met her that she and Toby were mates. I introduced them and they knew it as soon as they saw each other. I said good bye to Elena's mate Ray, who she met in 8th grade. And the last but not least  Matty's mate Victoria, they met in the summer between 8th and 9th.

Angel cleared his throat which normally means it's time to go. I look over at him near our car. I look around and see Ally hugging her friends bye and Caleb is already in the car since he only has 2 friends and they already left yesterday.

"Don't worry, you'll see us in 3 months tops and we'll talk to you over the phone." Elena says.

"Toby and I were thinking that we could visit in a month after he meets my pack and I meet his." Dani says and smiles at Toby.

"Emily! Come on we have to go." Angel yells at me. "You can talk to them later." I roll my eyes and say bye one more time before actually leaving my best friends.

We leave towards the airport in drousy South Dakota. It sarts to lightly rain. "So how was your year in school?" Angel asks.

"Oh now you talk to us?" Caleb says with a disgusted look on his face.

"Caleb." scolded Ally.

"What! I'm telling the truth. I try to talk with him but he always cuts me off of the conversation." Caleb says with hidden sadness that his older brother wouldn't or I sould say won't talk to them when they are in school. "At least Emily talks to us every once in a while to see how we are doing."

"Caleb, don't bring that up on me when you know I can't talk during school."

"What!? Because of pack buisness?"

"Yes a matter of fact it is about that. I can't keep looking after you and Ally. You need to grow up like I had too and so did Emily."

"I can not believe you just played that card! Angel, we didn't get a child hood because we were helping grandma out raising them, we chose to do it to so do NOT say that to them. They are still children and need their childhood full of fun, regretful memories." I scolded him. They all looked at me.

After that they were all silent. I lean my head up against the cold window to calm down we had about another 10 minutes before we would arive at the airport and another 2-4 hours on a plan to a quiet town in California called Mendocino, population of 894 people.

Angel breaks the silence first "I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said about you needing to grow up, Caleb."

"I don't give a fuck about what you mean and don't mean, Angel. You are my brother but not my guardian or parent."

"Caleb, you need to be silent right now." Angel groweled at him using his alpha powers on him.

That's the last straw for me. Caleb is our little brother and he's using his alpha power? oh hell no. "Angel, pull the fucking car over now!" I yell. He looks at me in confusion but he does it any ways.

I got out of the car and started walking towards the airport since I can get there 30 minutes before our plan takes off. "What are you doing, Em?" He calls after me

I turn around so fast that it scared him. "You of all people know that's not a name I go by any more." I groweled at him.

"I...I.." He couldn't say anything. His mate Arianna was one of my bestest friends through 5 years of school until I found her hanging in our room with a broken neck because he rejected her being his mate.

"You know what you walk in this I'm driving the rest of the way with our brother and sister." I say and get into the driver's seat and took off leaving him looking at us drive away and then he started to run after the car yelling. I didn't stop I kept going. 

"Emily? Are you okay?" Ally asks.

"No I'm not." I pull over and wait for Angel to catch up and to get in the car. Tears started running down my face.

"He stepped over the line. He knows it too." Caleb says "But he likes to step over the line a lot."

"Caleb, I want you to understand that you need to stop arguing with Angel because it just makes it worse."

"I don't care he shouldn't act like we aren't his siblings while at the school and then act like we are when we go to grandma's for the summer." Caleb retorts back to me. Angel finally comes to the door and opens it and climbs in.

"I can't believe you took off with the car and left me to run after you." Angel says all pissy like.

"You pissed me off first and you know it. either you can walk the rest of the way or you could shut the fuck up and let me drive the rest of the way." he didn't say anything.

He was one of the most popular people in the school. He doesn't even see that I use to get bullied or that Ally and Caleb got bullied as well. His friends are all dicks too and they got him into drugs and football.

I pull into a parking space and climb out and go to the back and pull out my suit cases and back pack.

Caleb and Ally followed suit and followed me inside and Angel caught up to us at security. We got there right before they said now boarding.

I sat in my seat and turned off my phone and sat there with my eyes close as Angel sat next to me.
