The explosion was loud enough to blow everyone's ear drums, even if it was tens of miles away.
I whipped my head to the giant explosion off in the distance; it was like the movies, except this time it was real. The explosion happened right in the main city area. Fumes and darker fumes collected until it made a huge rounded off explosion hundreds of feet high. I knew that because the tallest buildings in Tampa were told to be hundreds of feet high.
The buildings seemed to get barer by the second, because from a distance I could see massive degree flying out from the buildings.
Fear consumed me greatly, and my stomach churned on ended.
Dear god, what the hell just happened!?
It was all made worse when the people in the cart started screaming. I joined them. A pure horror movie was happening, and I couldn't just pretend it was okay.
I could've sworn The entire coaster started shaking. It made me even sicker. Then I realized the rumbling was happening everywhere too. In fact, I could hear it.
The panic penetrated my frightened voice,"CODY!! Oh god, what's happening!?"
He blankly looked at me,"We gotta get off this roller coaster!"
I could barley hear him from the rumbling,"We're strapped shut!"
I desperately tried pulling the latch upwards so it wasn't tight, which I didn't really wanna do, but it wouldn't budge.
Suddenly an errie shrieking noise was surrounding everyone. The coaster sped slower and slower, but still too fast.
I could see the mouthing of Cody's voice, but couldn't hear it. My hands went straight to my ears. God it was loud. What was worse though that we still had the loop to go on.
There might not be enough speed to go on the loop! We were going about 15 miles now.
It got closer until it stretched in front of us. That's when I felt a huge mass of dust smack my face. Everyone else endured it, too. I looked to the hurt city and could tell that dust was over rising the sky around it.
A loud crack made me freeze. I looked back and saw the starting place of the roller coaster lean to the side! If that breaks, then what will we do...
So of course it did. The black track broke off from another connected track until it was swaying by itself. Then, it swooped to one side and crashed down to the ground, making a huge WHUMP noise. More masses of dust were collecting around it.
I couldn't even see anything anymore, only the handle bar and the faint outline of Cody's head. Everything was gray, dust particles and other things smashing into my face. I screamed. I couldn't take it anymore! It hurt like hell. Cody never should've bought those tickets, then we would've been fine at our house...
The loud shaking noises were coming closer, and I knew that meant doom.
The loop came all too fast, and our coster tilted up. It was surprisingly slow, as if it didn't wanna move anymore.
Suddenly I was looking at the ground from above, but the world didn't seem to move. What happened?
The whole loop track was shaking violently now, more then ever. I could feel the blood rushing to my head, and my vision getting dreary. This was a nightmare. I wanted to cry it all out, but my life was at stake.
Then it got even worse.
The shaking got even worse until a huge crunching noise happened and the whole entire track was falling apart, bring the coaster with it.
The feeling of nothing holding my weight up went deep inside my stomach, and I screamed again. The ground was getting closer and closer all too fast. It was so horrible because everything happened so quickly, I didn't get time to think. I could hear Cody yelling to death now, and I wanted to kiss him reassurance. My hand grabbed his and I squeezed it tightly until my palms were white.
Before I knew it the ground was apon us. My other hand clenched to my latch and I screamed even louder.
Suddenly the coaster made contact with the ground, and I felt something throw my head back severely. The whole coaster was in circles, and loud thundering noises were surrounding me.
Then I saw something black and long come hurtling towards me.
The last thing I remembered before blacking out was a sharp blinding pain in my head.
Wooaaahhh things just got scary! Time to find out next chapter what happens when Lina wakes up from the disastrous destruction.
