Tasia Lee
A huge sigh leaves his lips which everyone seems to be doing today. Am I that annoying?
"First task, you're going to have to trust each other with all you've got. Trust is the base of the relationship, if it's weak, consider it broken before it actually happens." The trainer spoke.
I'm kind of tired of calling him the trainer since I really don't know his name, I shall name him Roger.
"What are you smiling about?" Hunter asked. "Oh sorry, I didn't know I needed your permission to smile." I spoke bitterly but playfully. "You do." He stated. "So do I need your permission to breathe?" I asked annoyedly.
"Not again." Someone mutters under his breath, that someone being towel boy. I ignored him and turned my attention towards Hunter. "Yes you need my permission." He folded his arms.
"Can I?"
"No."
Cue the loud sigh.
"Please?"
"Fine."
"Really?"
"No."
Cue the loud sigh again.
"Can you guys quit it?" Towel boy spoke. "Hush it towel boy, before I do put a towel in your throat." I squeal, probably annoying but I guess it's fine if I did it. Hunter raises one of his eyebrows and a small smile plays on his lips.
"Towel boy? That's pretty creative for you Lee." He laughed, it sounded so sweet and melodious, it was so contagious that I couldn't help but smile with him. "Well, I'll take it as a compliment..." I trail off, forgetting his name." "Cheseldine." He smiles.
"So now, we're going to give you a few activities to either prove you trust each other or to make you guys trust each other." Roger spoke. "What? Are we going to do trust fall or something?" Alex snickered. Lame. I turned around gave a sarcastic laugh then put my poker face back on and turned back to Roger.
"Funny Mathews, laugh when you're doing extra laps on the field." Roger said smugly. "He doesn't joke around does he?" Hunter asked in curiosity. "No, he's almost like my uncle." I told him as I was day dreaming. "Almost?" He asked, "Yeah, my uncle really did have a sense of humour." I spoke.
Cue Hunter's face-palm.
"Now, you partners are going through a scavenger hunt. It's not an ordinary scavenger hunt, for this, you'll have to go through certain hurdles. You are free to pick which person to go first." Roger read out from a paper.
"I'll give you each one piece of paper to start with." He continued as he hands out a small envelope to each pair. Oh boy, Alex and Ashely make a great pair, they're already at each other's throats, arguing on who is going to open it first.
"Let's co-operate alright?" He asked quietly. "Yeah" I laugh "Don't want to end up like them." I jerk my chin towards Ashley and Alex who were now on the floor. Oh well.
I hand the envelope to Hunter and gesture him to open it, "Don't want to end up on the floor huh?" He asked as he opened the envelope. I lightly laugh and peek over to see what's written.
