Tasia Lee
As Hunter carries me back to the building, I inhale his cologne, creepy? I know. It just comforted me for some reason, like everything will be fine, like there aren't things to worry about. Something about him just made him likeable. I stared at the side of his face as I look at him in awe. "Stop staring at me, Lee" He broke the silence. Well, thank you. "I'm not staring." I lied through my teeth.
"Then what were you doing?" He questioned further. "I.....I was admiring your nose from the side you know, looks great, did you get a nose job?" I flicked the side of his nose for 'proving my point' "Just get off my back Lee." He said as he stopped walking.
"Get off m-"
"No Tasia, just no."
"Fine."
"So let's open the box." I offer as I get on my feet. "Key?" I ask as I extend my hand and wiggle my fingers. He dropped the key in my palm and look at me dead in the eye. "Don't get used to it." He pulled a poker face, wait, his face is always like that.
"Used to what?" I ask as I get on my knees and fiddle with the lock. "Me being nice to you." He said bluntly. I pretended to choke and gasp for air for exaggeration, "That was you being nice?" I question. He gave me a little 'hah' and stared at me again with his clenched jaw and icy blue eyes.
I shrugged and opened the box, I remove the envelope and read it out.
'It's not about beauty, it's about their brain. You just have to dig in.'"What?" Hunter and I spoke in unison, this is much harder than the previous one, shouldn't we gradually get harder ones? "And luckily, you have neither." He stated. "Yeah? Really? Oh, let me just seek validation from the most annoying guy I've ever met." I groaned snatch the paper out of his hand, I pretend that I'm reading then throw the paper on his face, "Since you said I don't have either, you solve it." I exclaim. "Damn, drama queen much?" He said, that boy has some nerves.
Hunter took the paper that was on the ground since I threw it at him and fiddled with it, a small diagram flashed at the back of the card that caught my eye. "Hunter?" I suddenly call out his name, hoping it would be what it is. "Mhm?" He asked as his eyes kept scanning the words again and again. "Flip the paper over." I state, he understands what I'm trying to indicate, we both look at each other in the eyes shortly and he flips the paper over.
I was right, I mean, when am I not? There was a small diagram that looked a like a map to where we had to go. "The first wing, it's not that far away from here." He said as he tucked the paper in his back pocket.
"Wait, isn't that where they start training?" I asked before he could take off. "Yeah." He trailed off, "Oh, so brains might be where they teach?" I questioned. "Maybe." He said.
I nudge my head towards the building that was the first wing and start jogging towards to save the energy I might need later. Hunter matches my speed as we run for another three minutes or so.
Currently, we were standing in front of the door that we had to enter, why aren't we entering already you may ask? It's because it wasn't a classroom that I thought it would be. This was the 'forbidden' part of the wing that no one really knew of, well not anymore.
Hunter raises his hand in front of the door.
"Knock, just knock." I quote from 'Frozen.'
