Chapter 4- Violet
"Ok......I'm here." Tylar was huffing because he was out of breath.
"What did you do, run all the way here?" Asked Violet smiling.
"I told my mom I was going for a run so I just ran 20 blocks back to the school to see you. You better tell me what you want to say now."
"Don't worry I will. Here sit down," Violet patted the grass next to her "before you pass out"
"Ya ya, no laughing." Tylar said.
Violet giggled at looked over at him. "Ok, so here it is. You're different. Do you feel different?"
"Different how?"
"Like you possibly have weird nightmares or dreams about powers perhaps. Or weird things happen when you think of certain things. Things like that."
"Well I have had weird dreams and I sometimes get blinded by the sun, or something like that, when the sun isn't even out or when I'm inside."
"So it is light." Violet said to herself.
"What?" Tylar asked; a questioning look on his face.
"Light, it's your power, that's why you have a yellow aura."
"A yellow aura? I don't see anything."
"I know you can't see it. Only special people with better eyesight than all the rest can see it."
"And your one of them? Whatever you call them."
"I'm a searcher. But I also have animal power."
"So what colour is animal power?"
"Purple" Violet said like it should be obvious.
"Is that why you have purple eyes and a purple streak in your hair and you name is another colour for purple?"
"Duh!"
"Ok ok don't need to go all sassy on me." Tylar said laughing. Violet laughed too.
"Follow me."
"Ok whatever you say sassy pants."
"So is that what you calling me now?"
"Yes, yes it is sassy pants. Better get used to it."
"Great." She said with sarcasm.
