Chapter 13

Chapter 13- Tylar

"What have you done!" Yelled one of Kalisha's friends.

"I...I didn't mean..." Tylar stuttered.

"I don't care if you didn't mean to! She is dead now and it is all your fault!" She ran away, tears filling her eyes.

"She is right." Acerie said at she moved to stand behind Tylar. "She is dead and you were the cause if her death. You will be punished for your actions. The council members and I will discus your punishment." she said matter of factly. "Until we tell you your veridic you can wait in your cabin." and with that she walked away with Sorren and some older people that Tylar did not recognize.

Violet walked up to him.

"Tylar?" she asked cautiously. "Are you ok?"

"Umm...ya I think so. I...I just need a little time to myself right now."

"How about I walk to your cabin than we can..." she was cut off.

"Thanks, it means a lot but I'm fine thanks. Talk to you later Violet."

"Oh ok." she said feeling hurt.

And with that Tylar walked away from the scene towards his cabin.

"Why did I have to do that?" he asked himself out loud. "How did I even do that?"

He paced back and forth thinking about what he had done and how he could have even done such a thing.

"I'm gonna be in so much trouble" he whispered to himself.

Then came a knock at the door.

"We are ready for you now." Acerie said.

"Ok." Tylar said warily.

"Do you mind in I come in for a minute?" Acerie asked politely.

"No," Tylar said opening the door wider for her. "come on in."

She came in, her coral dress ruffling at her feet as she walked.

"Don't be worried." she spoke kindly. "We all talked and discovered that you did not cause as much harm as you are capable of so your punishment will be small."

"Thank you Acerie but, I killed a person!" he exclaimed. "How could my punishment be small?"

"You are a new aura here and don't know any better. Your like a young child learning what's right from what's wrong. You might be surprised by our outcome." she spoke with a smile on her face; like seeing a memory of herself when she was young.

"Now come with me." she said briskly. "it is almost time."

Together they walked out of Tylar's cabin and headed to the head council hall to discuss his punishment.
