Chapter 9- Tylar
"I don't want to put this top on!"
"You have to for the ceremony. You have no choice. I have to dress up too, your not the only one."
"But it looks ridiculous." Tylar complained.
As Tylar turned around he smirked and the started cracking up.
"You look..."
"Don't even start with me boy, or I will shoot you to the ceremony on a light stream."
Tylar walked out of the training center trying not to laugh and Sorren led the way to the dining hall.

"Whoa." Tylar whispered as he walked into the dining hall.
"Ya I know, first time I got here I had the same reaction you do." Violet said as she walked up behind him.
"You scared me."
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone you jumped." she giggled.
"You should go Tylar, Acerie wants you on the platform so she can introduce you to the camp." Sorren told him.
"Ok. See you later Violet."
"Ya, talk to you later."
"Ahem." Acerie announced "Everyone be quite, it is time for the ceremony. Tylar will you please step forward."
Tylar moved to stand beside Acerie
"Do you pledge yourself to the ways of an aura?"
"I do."
"Do you leave your old life behind to train your powers and become the strongest light aura you can be?"
"I do."
"And last but not least, will you put your life on the line for the camp at any cost?"
"I...I do."
"Well then, welcome to camp!"
"Thank you." Tylar said and he walked off the platform to sit with Sorren.
"Not to bad kid, were you nervous?" Sorren asked.
"No not really, but I am hungry, when do we get to eat?"
"Here."
"But it's just a plate."
"Talk to it, it will give you what you want to eat. and have this cup too, it works the same way."
"Thanks."
"Now eat up, you can make some friends in about an hour and a half when the games start."
"Games? What kind of games?"
"Lets just say you might want to clear your head, remember what I thought you today, and stay by Violet so you don't get killed. Good luck and most importantly don't get killed."
