Chapter 10

Chapter 10- Tylar

"What kind of game is this?" Tylar asked a little stunned.

"Use you powers and don't get killed kinda game." a girl said as she walked by.

She stopped walking and turned around.

She was wearing a dark gray sweater and knee length, worn in, jean shorts. She had light brown hair and jade green eyes and a sly smile on her face.

"Your the new guy aren't you?"

"Maybe, why?"

"I just thought I would wish you good luck."

"Thanks?"

"The name's Kalisha." the girl thought and Tylar heard it.

"Telekinesis aura." he said creeped out that this girl jut talker to him through her thoughts.

"Yup. You better go, your being called."

"No one is..."

"Tylar come here, I'll tell help you out during the game." called Violet.

The girl named Kalish giggled, "I told you." and ran off.

"There you are." Violet sighed. "Here," she handed him some armor to put on, "you'll need this so you don get hurt."

"Thanks." Tylar said gratefully. "What is this game?"

"It's sort of like capture the flag but campers can only use their powers."

"So only campers play, ok good..."

"Not only campers play, the Tatar, alsied, Agathodaemon, Ani Hyuntikwalaski, Asria, some baby dragons,..."

Tylar cut Violet off, "dragons?!?!"

"Baby dragons," Violet stated "and there is so much more but you'll learn all of that during you classes with Sorren. We gotta go, just stay low, that's your best option right now. See you after our team wins.

"Where should I go?" Tylar asked prepared for the game to begin.

"There is a creek on our side of the forest and a big rock with some holes in it, the flag is hidden in the biggest hole, help guard it. The marker for the boundary line between the two sides is a huge fallen tree, do not cross it or you are dead meat! Your not trained enough yet!" Violet called over her shoulder. "Good luck!"

"You too!" Tylar called back.

Tylar was now alone. He worked his way around the deadfall to find the creek then followed the creek to come upon the big rock Violet told him about.

"Are you the newbie?" some guy asked.

"Yeah." Tylar replied.

"Violet told us you would help guard the flag." said another guy.

"Yeah I'm going to help you."

"Ok," said a girl with long silver hair and bright blue eyes "we'll tell you what you can do."

"Ok."

"My name is Willow, sky and wind aura. This is Clyde a water aura and this is Evan an earth aura.

"Nice to meet you." Tylar said politely.

Clyde moved forward and whispered in Tylar's ear, "Stay in the background and let us do all the fighting, newbie."

Tylar nodded

"Good." Clyde returned and a smile slid across his face.

He walked back to his position in front of the rock.

"Their not wearing any armor." Tylar thought.

Willow was wearing a white blouse with a black undershirt and black leather leggings and combat boots. Clyde and Evan both wore similar clothing, tan shorts and a tank top. Clyde's top was blue and Evan's top was olive green. Tylar looked down and guessed that all the new campers had to wear the armor because they were not as trained. As Tylar moved closer to Clyde a flare went off.

"Here we go." Willow whispered.
