Chapter 16

Chapter 16- Violet

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* Violet's alarm went off.

She woke up right away, the first thing coming back to her groggy morning head being what she saw last night in the woods. She saw Evelyn threatening to give Tylar to the Demons if he didn't leave camp, forever.

"I'll have to talk to Tylar about that later." she said to herself. "Maybe at breakfast I could ask."

She got up, put her grey tank top and denim shorts on, then left her cabin for the dining hall.

The morning sun was rising, the grass was lush and dewy on her feet and the sky was foggy. A typical morning at camp.

Violet listened to the creatures in the forest as she walked. Getting closer to the dining hall she heard someone talking. She snuck around the side of the wooden building and got closer to hear what the person what saying.

"Of course it's Evelyn, what is the bitch up to now?" Violet whispered to herself.

Sneaking closer she could make out what Evelyn was saying, "Yes, yes I know. Get him kicked out and then the prophecy won't come true. But now that Kalisha is dead I am the only mole in this stupid camp. What happens if I get caught and..."

A strangers voice from the other side of the call told Evelyn, "You will not get caught because if you do you will be the one in trouble, not the little brat. His powers will be getting stronger the more he practices with Sorren, he may be old but he is a great and powerful Aura. He is the reason we became the Demons in the first place. And you won't be alone for long, we are sending a new Demon to help you but for now stay out of trouble and don't do anything stupid." *click*

The stranger hung up which had Evelyn spouting off and swearing. In Evelyn's anger, that allowed Violet to creep back to the entrance to the dining hall and slip inside without ever being noticed.

Entering the dining hall Violet went to look for Tylar or Sorren to tell them what she had overheard but they were nowhere to be seen.

"Good morning Violet."

"Ahh!" startled Violet whipped around to find Acerie behind her. "I'm sorry, you scared the living daylight out of me. I do have to talk to you about something important if you have some time though."

"Come to my office with me and we can talk about it."

Heading out of the dining hall Violet walked nervously beside Acerie, worried that somehow Evelyn had found out that she had overheard the conversation.

"What has you so worried Violet?" asked Acerie, "I know things have been rough having Tylar here so far but I'm sure he will gain control over his powers soon. At least I hope it will be soon" she chuckled.

"Actually, that has something to do with what I want to talk to you about but I can't say it out here. I don't know who is listening."

Acerie stopped and looked at Violet, "What do you mean who is listening?"

"I will explain everything once we get to the office," Violet promised.

After explaining everything Violet had seen and heard to Acerie she immediately called Sorren and Tylar to her office to discuss how they were going to deal with this news.

"What happened?" Sorren asked rushing into Acerie's office.

"Violet has just informed of something important about a camper."

"Who?" Asked Sorren skeptically.

"Evelyn" Violet stated.

"What did she do this time?" Tylar asked rolling his eyes.

"She is a mole. She is a demon and she has come to kill Tylar before the prophecy comes true."

"That can't be possible Violet! She is on the committee!" Sorren stated irritably. "And you believe her Acerie!"

"I will be looking into it Sorren but we have to keep this between the four of us for now before we find more information," Acerie said patiently.

"Ok," Sorren said calming down a little bit "I will keep this between us but if this has to do with Tylar's safety we better figure this out soon. I don't need him getting hurt or killed, he is just getting control of his powers and he still needs more practice if he is to fulfill this prophecy."

"What is this prophecy you guys keep talking about?" Tylar asked sheepishly.
