When Kumo looks into the toddlers eyes, she sees a beautiful baby tiger, in the arms of the pre-teen who is an fae with light blue and gold light flowing around him.
Kumo knows how rare Fae's are. Because almost every supernatural wants them in their pack, clan, coven, group etc. Because of all the power and their blood flowing in their viens has healing powers that are faster than a werewolves.
That is why, Fae's are treated like gems, that need to be protected at all times. The species that have kidnapped Fae's and made them their mates by force, and they are mostly werewolves, ogres a few vampires, sirens, succubus & incubus.
Those are a few supernaturals who will do anything to even murder, kidnapping etc. Just to breed a fae. But Angeles and a few of other supernaturals like werecats, mer-people, shapshifers, witches, wizards, warlock's, elf's, animal shifters, even demons want to protect Fae's and are over joyed if they are mated to Fae's, and they won't stop to protect their mates & children, even at the cost of their own lives.
