Seven

Theresa wanted to let go of his hand but he had a good hold on her.  They walked into the restaurant. Jay was greeted with smiles. 

"You've been here before?" Theresa asked him. 

"It's my favorite place." He smiled. 

Theresa nodded and followed him to a seat. She pulled out her phone and texted Sarah. 

Theresa: Where are you!? Save me! 

Sarah: I'm good :) 

Theresa: -_-  

Sarah didn't answer her back. Theresa sighed and put her phone down. She looked at Jay who was on his phone. 

"How may I..." The girl froze as she looked at Jay. "Oh my God, yo-your Jay Park." 

Theresa rolled her eyes. The girl looked at Theresa and frowned. Theresa looked at her, seeing her face she knew what the girl thought. 

"We're just friends...even if that." Theresa cleared the air. 

The girl smiled and nodded. She looked at Jay. Jay looked at her then at Theresa. 

"Can we just get some sushi." He said. "What would you like to drink?" 

"Dr. Pepper." Theresa looked at the girl. 

She nodded and looked at Jay. 

"What would you like to drink?" She asked him. 

"The same thing." Jay said, his eyes not leaving Theresa. 

Theresa cleared her throat and looked away from Jay. 

I'm going to kill her. Theresa thought. 

The girl walked away and Theresa looked at him. 

"She likes you." Theresa stated. "You can see it on her face." 

"Jealous?" Jay looked at her. 

"No." Theresa said with a straight face. 

Jay nodded his head. The girl came back with the drinks. Theresa noticed how her three top buttons were undid. She bent over and placed his drink in front of him. 

So extra. Theresa thought, rolling her eyes.  

Jay smiled at the girl as she walked away. 

"Our food should be here soon." Jay said. "Where did you go just a second ago?" 

"Huh?" Theresa looked at him. 

Jay shook his head and smiled. 

"What's on your mind?" He asked. 

"Sarah, where is she? Did your friend do something to her!?" Theresa asked, her eyes widening. 

"She's fine." Jay sighed. "Gray wouldn't hurt her." 

Theresa nodded her head. 

"That girl, she's so extra." Theresa rolled her eyes. 

"I know, every girl that sees me acts extra." Jay looked at her. "Expect you." 

Theresa looked up. Their eyes met, Jay smiled causing Theresa to blush. 

"Here you go." She showed up with their food. 

"Thanks." Jay nodded as the girl walked away. 

Theresa watched as Jay Park picked the sushi with his hands. Theresa did the same, eat it in one bite. She started to cough. She took a sip of her drink but it didn't help much. The sushi was too spicy. Jay looked up at her. Worry written in his eyes. 

"Excuse me, can I get some water...Hurry." Jay called over a waiter. 

He looked at Theresa who was patting her chest. The waiter rushed over with a glass of water. Jay handed it to Theresa. 

"Are you okay?" He asked. 

"Suddenly, I don't want sushi anymore." Theresa spoke. "That was too spicy." 

Jay smiled in relief. He looked at her plate and then at his. Something didn't match up. He ate the same one she did but hers was spicy. 

"Stay right here." Jay stood.
