Fifteen

Theresa grabbed her phone. She clicked on Jay's contact. He picked up on the second ring. 

"Jay?" She said. 

"Yeah." He sighed. 

"Can we meet up?" Theresa asked him. 

"Why? So you can reject me again." Jay responded with a sour tone. 

"No. So I apologize to you face to face." Theresa sighed. 

"I guess we can meet up. I'll come and pick you up." Jay said. "I'll be there in 20."  

Theresa grabbed a jacket to cover her bump. She answered the door as he knocked on it. Jay smiled as he looked at her. He took her hand with his. Theresa gave him a small smile. 

"Where are we going?" She asked as she shut the door. 

"On a date." Jay looked at her and smiled. 

Theresa made an O shape with her mouth. He helped her into the car and got into the drivers side. 

"Movies then out to eat?" He looked at her. 

"Fine with me." Theresa said. 

Jay looked at Theresa. He smiled and shook his head. 

"You don't have to hide it." He sighed. 

Theresa looked down. She knew what he was talking about it. She sighed and pressed her lips together. They arrived at the movies. He held Theresa's hand tight but not too tight. Girls started and whispered. 

"Whatever rumors appear, ignore them." He looked at Theresa. 

"What if they are true?" Theresa looked at him. "Then, they're not rumors." 

"Point taken." He said. 

They bought tickets to Beauty and the Beast, Jay didn't want to see it but Theresa made him go see it. They sat sharing popcorn. Theresa reached into the bowl at the same time Jay did. He smiled as their hands touched. 

"That was so corny." Theresa laughed.

Sarah stood staring at Gray. She didn't know what to say or think. She sighed. 

"How do I know that your..." She was cut off by his lips. 

"Don't push me away, because you're scared to love." He whispered on her lips. 

He grabbed her hand and lead her out the coffee shop. He turned to her. Sarah was still in shock. 

"I won't do you like your ex's." Gray looked around. "I want to pick the pieces." 

Sarah's eyes searched his. She bit her lip. Her mind was blank, but her heart was shouting for him. She opened her mouth but then closed it. 

"Say something." Gray's eyes searched hers.

Jay and Theresa sat in the restaurant. He couldn't stop staring at her. Theresa blushed and looked away. 

"Stay with me tonight." He said. 

Theresa looked up at him. Her eyes widen. 

"Please." His eyes pleaded.
