Twenty

Sarah cleared her throat. She looked at Theresa know it was her doing.  Sarah didn't want her sister involved with them. It's bad enough Theresa and her got caught up  with them. Korean guys are just so addicting. 

"May I sit here." He asked Charlene. 

"Yeah sure." Charlene said. "Before you get any ideas, I'm not into Koreans." 

Charlene looked dead at Theresa. Theresa looked away. 

"It's fine, we can still be friends." He said. 

Charlene nodded. They all talked and enjoyed the time. 

"Well, I'll see you guys later." Sarah stood hurrying away. 

"Wait." Gray hurried after her. 

Jay laughed. 

"He's not going to stop until she's his." He continued to laugh. 

"Wait, so that's the girl?" The guy spoke up. 

"Yes, Loco...that's the girl." Jay nodded. 

"I could understand why he wants her so bad." Loco laughed. 

Soon after Loco left leaving Theresa, Jay and Charlene. Then Charlene left. 

"So what do you wanna do?" Jay asked Theresa. 

"Sleep." Theresa yawned. 

Jay nodded and they both left. They went back to his where Theresa slept haft the day. Jay stayed with her, sitting next to her as he worked on writing a songs. Theresa shifted and he stopped. Her body facing him. He smiled as he looked at her. Her lips parted a little, the light cased a perfect shadow on her face. Jay put down his note book and got comfortable next to her. 

He sighed as he thought about life with her. Just a few months ago he thought he'd never find a girl for him. Until Theresa came into his life. He kissed her on her forehead and pulled her close to him. He woke up to Theresa moving from his arms. 

"Where are you going?" He mumbled. 

"To the bathroom." She stretched. 

He nodded and yawned closing his eyes. He went back to sleep. Theresa walked out the bathroom to see cuddling the pillow she was using. She sighed, grabbing her phone and quietly leaving. She called a Uber. She got home and packed a bag. The whole day she was thinking about moving in  with Jay. They haven't talked about it but it felt right that she moved in with him. Theresa was packing her bag, not paying attention to her phone. She went to her bed and saw the messages from Jay. Even missed calls. She picked up her phone going to call him back but dropped her phone when she saw him standing in her door way. 

He looked like he was crying. His eyes were red and puffy. His hair a mess but still looked good. He walked over to her and hugged her. She hugged him back rubbing his back. 

"I-I thought..." He sniffed. 

"I was going to come back." Theresa said. 

"Don't ever leave me again." He sniffed. 

Theresa never seen this side of him before. It was shocking. She pulled away from a little bit. Her eyes staring into his. 

"Never." She smiled. "I was thinking...I want to move in with you." 

Jay's eyes searched hers. He wasn't sure if he heard her right. 

"You want to move in with me?" He asked. 

"Yes." Theresa smiled. 

"Are you sure?" He said. "You'll be away from your friends." 

"They'll be fine." Theresa laughed. 

"Yeah, but will you be fine?" Jay said holding her by her shoulders. 

Theresa smile fell, she didn't think about that. Could she be away from her friends? Would she be fine?
