"Why are you avoiding me?" Sharrkan demanded, at once when he noticed you in the halls. "Don't I usually?" You ignored him and walked past.
"Yeah, but not this bad!" He grumbled, catching up to you. "What did I do this time? Was I too drunk?"
"You're always too drunk."
"Then what? I don't distinctly remember doing anything to you." Sharrkan brushed back his hair, blank as a canvas. "Oh! Did I puke everywhere?"
He swung the chains around his neck, thoughtfully.
Sharrkan was always dressed so flashily, you found his outfits giving your head no break and eyes no rest.
"Why are you so bothered," he whined, "I won't go drinking again- just tell me why you're mad." You whirled around, annoyed by his whiny little voice and the way he resembled a dog.
"You can't say that, Sharrkan, even I know you wouldn't keep that promise!" You stuck a finger towards his face. "Every night you go out and get completely wasted like that-!"
He took a step back, surprised.
"And guess who has to clean up everyday after you? Me!" You waved your hands around. "Do you have any idea how difficult it is for me to pry you away from those girls?"
He simply blinked.
"And- and you have no shame, even though you know I feel that way towards you, you still go out and flirt with all those girls--"
A small smile appeared on Sharrkan's lips, his eyes began to dance merrily.
"And how dare you start smiling?" You asked, your eyes huge with anger. "You've caused me so much trouble, don't you ever go out drinking again!"
Sharrkan hummed to himself and nodded at your every word.
"You're honestly so annoying!" You snapped, furious, "I hate it when you get drunk and start saying all those things to me. Don't say anything if you don't mean it, you bastard--"
He sighed, letting his head tip to one side, he smiled sweetly, his green eyes shone and he adjusted himself, lazily. "Did you just say you like me?"
You narrowed your eyes for one second.
The swordsman's smile grew, almost comparable to the sun as it beamed it's rays upon the grassy land.
You turned on your heel, "I gotta go." You muttered, "I think Aladdin wanted to see me."
He jumped in your path, stopping you in your path.
A weird smile appeared on his face again, "oh man, maybe I can finally get married now...at this old age..."
You stared at him as if he had grown three heads.
"I'm kidding?" He stopped, looking down at you. "Sorry, I don't really know what to say." He covered his face with his hand, laughing in disbelief.
"Oh god, I haven't been this excited since I fought in that dungeon some years ago." He shook his head, his green eyes glinting.
You folded your arms across your chest, turning your head to the side. "Aren't...you used to this kind of thing?"
"I don't know what made you think that, but I haven't been confessed since I was six years old when Yamuraiha told me I was her younger brother and that she loved me."
A laugh escaped before you could stop it.
Sharrkan relaxed. "Won't you just date me, then?"
You didn't answer right away.
"I never did say I never liked you, don't even start to think that," he chuckled, nervously, ruffling his hair, fingers running through the silky white.
God, he's not even that much of a pervert.
"And I don't have much experience, but if you like me with honesty like that, I promise I'll do my best to make you happy." He concluded, a childish smile.
"I'm worth a shot, wouldn't you say?" Sharrkan smiled, mischievously.
Quietly, "no drinking."
"Absolutely. You're the boss." He cheered, "please treat me well!"
