"Dear heart, why do you look so sad?" Aladdin asked, his hand resting on your shoulder as you looked down the streets of the town.
"I can't help it. We're aging but I feel like I haven't done anything I wanted to in my lifetime." You admitted, turning to him and burying your face into his chest.
He smiled a little at your actions, running a hand through his hair, he spoke again. "What did you want to do?"
"I can't help but look at your parents and think of what I've done in comparison to them. I feel like I haven't contributed to much in this world."
Aladdin combed his hand through your hair, "wow, your hair is really soft. Like butter." You looked up, "are you even listening to me?" You asked, laughing.
"I am!" He spoke, cheerily. "You can't compare yourself to Solomon and Sheba, there was much to do in their world before they could even make it relatively habitable.
"Yes, that's true..."
"Plus, what are you talking about? Look at the man you've made me into." He sat next to you, and leaned his head against your shoulder.
His blue hair twisted around his shoulder, tumbling to the ground in it's messy braid. Suddenly, you had a thought, "can I braid your hair?"
Aladdin raise his head from your shoulder. "Go ahead," he smiled with softness at you.
"You say I've made you into the man you are today, but I really think you've always been this great." You softly said, re-braiding his hair.
"No, I was lonelier without you."
You turned him around and kissed him on his lips, feeling the soft and sweet flavor. Pulling away, "obviously, didn't you say I was the only girl you wanted when you first saw me?"
"Agh, don't talk about that time." Aladdin buried his face into his palms, his ears burning a deep, dark red.
"I remember! You said something about how you would never find a person like me again and asked me if I would marry you at once."
Aladdin's head dropped in shame.
You tousled his hair, as you had finished. Returning to your seat next to him, you continued, "and how you always would say that you wouldn't see other girls but me every time we met?"
Aladdin sighed, "yeah, I remember, are you done teasing me now?"
You laughed and took his hand, and planted a kiss on the back of his hand. "I'm never going to be done."
Aladdin sighed and chuckled affectionately, "what am I going to do with you?"
