Kaneko pov

I wake up on a very uncomfortable bed, and a constant beeping sound. What the hell is that? I think slowly opening my eyes, and moaning sleepily at the brightness..

"You're awake! Thank God, I got so scared." Hide said sobbing into my arm.

"what's going on." I asked totally confused as to what was happening. Hide looked up at me, that sad puppy look in his eye.

"You're sick." He says in a sad, yet soothing voice. "Really, really sick." Pausing, he looks up and kisses my forehead. "But don't worry, everything's going to be better soon. We're okay." It sounds more like he's trying to reassure himself more then me though.

"I feel so sleepy." I say slurring my words together into one big blob.

Hide picks up my limp hand and places it onto his lips, murmuring "Okay, get some sleep. I'll be here when you wake up, I promise. I'll never leave you again, just please don't leave me." I can barley catch  his last few words before my world goes dark.

I wake up again and for some reason feel even more tired then when I did before I fell asleep. What's happening to me? I feel a slight weight on my arm and look down to see hide sleeping on it. He's so cute when he sleeps. His face is always co calm and happy, but this time there's a look of slight concern, or worry, I can't quite place it. I try to open my mouth to call out to him but all that came out was a wheezing sound. But it seemed to do the job because he immediately jumped up and squeezed my hand. "Do you need some water sweetheart?" He asked in a soft voice. I nodded and in a matter of seconds he has a hand tilting my neck back and a glass to my lips. I gulp like there's no tomorrow. "Do you need anything else?" I nod.
"Could you cuddle with me please?" I ask in the most raspy, disgusting voice in history.
"Of course love. Anything for you." He starts climbing into the bed moving around some of the wires I didn't even know were there. I curl up into his chest with him muscular arms holding me tightly and drift off into a dreamless sleep.
