Special Chapter 9 - Part 2 - The Second Date

Arthit's POV

We both got busy with school projects after the amusement park date. I only could catch glimpses of Kong when we were walking around campus getting to class or during lunch time in the cafeteria when he was done eating. Our timing never matched that I could have lunch with him. I mostly kept it touch with him via text messages. Even if I did get an opportunity to spend time with Kong, Bright would always be there and make himself a third wheel.

Today, I was able to eat lunch with Kong. I was happy just sitting there with him and talking about random things. Then, Bright came out of nowhere. I think he had radar that informed him that Kong and I were together somewhere. Poof! He appeared.

'Kongpope, how are you doing today?' He came over and sat in between us and put his arm around Kongpope.

When I saw this gesture, I felt a weird dark feeling enter my mind.

Why was Bright being so touchy towards Kong? Did he like Kong too? No, Bright is the ultimate ladies man. Wait, didn't I think I only liked girls too? It was like a dark cloud was hovering above me.

'Kongpope, you have something on your lips.'

Kong looked bit taken aback when Bright used the palm of his hands to wipe off his mouth. I saw Kong look at me uncomfortably and I bit my lip to keep myself from yelling at Bright. Even I didn't get a chance to do that to Kong.

Bright noticed his surprised look and turned around to me.

'Oh right. Sorry, Arthit. Didn't mean to touch your faen like that.'

I felt a nerve struck and I was about to yell when Kong shook his head at me. I just looked away and grabbed my drink.

'See you later Kong.'

Didn't Knott say he was going to talk to Bright? I should ask him.

When I got to class, I grabbed a seat next to Knott.

'Knott, did you have a chance to talk to Bright?'

'Not yet...why?'

'...he is pushing his luck.' I said it in a murderous voice.

What was happening to me? I'm getting angry at one of my closest friends over Kong. I knew that Bright's gesture didn't mean anything but I definitely felt that Bright's teasing of my relationship was making me get irritated even more since I hadn't been able to spend a lot of time with Kong.

Bright walked into class and I glared at him. He seemed so oblivious to my glare since he took a seat next to me.

'Bright...'

'Hmm...?'

'You do that again, I will crush you.'

Bright looked at me like he was an innocent man being accused of something he never did. 

'Do what?'

I cocked my eyebrow, 'Bright, I'm serious.'

Bright's blank expression slowly changed into a creepy smirk. Then, he smiled, cackling out evil laughter as if he was a villain from a superhero movie.

'Ha! Arthit! I was just joking.'

'The next time you sit in between Kong and me, I will post your embarrassing photo on Facebook.'

Bright stopped grinning and looked at me blankly.

'What photo?'

I just shrugged. I looked at Knott who shook his head as if to say the photo was pretty embarrassing. Ha! Nice follow Knott.
