Kim's POV:

I helped Johnny down the stairs to the living room and sat down near him on the couch before I told the gang what happened. All of their faces went blank when I told them what I did to Johnny's mom. "Damn I guess our little girls growin up," Dally said pretending to wipe a tear from his eye. I punched him in the arm so hard he fell to the floor and I said " this is no time for jokes Dal." He put his hands up and backed up.

"Could I stay with you guys?" Johnny said with a shaky voice. "Of course Johnny" Pony said. "Johnny you know your welcome anytime you want," Darry said caringly. "You guys are like the family I wish I had" Johnny said. That made my heart break.

The rest of the day was calm for me and Johnny, we didn't do a lot. Pretty much the entire time we would sit and watch T.V. or just talk. I would go back and fourth between my room, the kitchen and the living room. But I made sure that I was near Johnny at all times, or at least knew exactly where he was. It kinda was easy when he's in the same house. Pony went to the DX with Soda and Steve, Darry went to work and Dally and Two-Bit went to the Dingo. So it was just me and Johnny. I knew later on that I would be annoyed by the gang that me and Johnny spent the whole day alone together, but I didn't care.

My eyes started to get heavier as I was sitting on the couch with Johnny. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and let my eyes rest. I was so tired from last night because I stayed up till three in the morning reading, but I didn't tell anybody. Johnny just let me lean my head on his shoulder. I woke up to Two-Bit and Dally and the rest of the gang barging into the door and getting out all of their stupid remarks to try to embarrass me but I was used to it so it didn't matter.

Johnny's POV:

Other than the beating, I think this might've been the best day of my life. I felt so great full that I could count on the gang to have my back. Especially Kim when I needed her to help me with all of my cuts, bruises, breaks, and fractures. Not just on the outside, but the inside. She just made me feel, like I was the only person in the world that she would do anything for if she had too.

When I saw her trying to stay awake, I knew it wasn't going to happen. I started counting how many seconds she would last with fighting to try not to fall asleep. She lasted about 4. She started to lean her head on my shoulder and I started getting butterflies in my stomach. She finally fell asleep and stayed asleep. She was even cute when she was asleep. I like her so much, but, I hope she doesn't know it because I think she wouldn't want to even go near me anymore.

The gang walked in and I got so scared because I thought that Soda would beat me up because she was on my shoulder. Thankfully he didn't. Darry, Soda, Pony, Steve, Dal and Two-Bit all started making kissy faces and kissy noises and made funny remarks to try to embarrass Kim. She seriously didn't care which surprised me. I guess she was so used to all the guys messin with her and embarrassing her she was immune to it. That was until Pony started singing " Kim and Johnny sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G," she lost it. She jumped up off the couch and tackled Pony and had him face down on the floor with his arm twisted behind his back and it looked like it hurt. "Say uncle," she demanded. "UNCLE, UNCLE," he screamed. She got off him and he groaned on the floor. "Serves you right" she said to him crossing her arms. She was cute when she was angry, but she also scared me sometimes.

Pony's POV:

I don't know how Soda and Steve worked at the DX all the time, it was boring. All they did was fix cars. Where's the fun in that. I wish I stayed home and read "Gone With The Wind" instead. There was so much action in it, the social classes, the different types of people that were nothing like the Greasers or the Socs. What's not to love. Then the time came. The three of us could finally go home. Honestly I've never been so happy to go home.

When we got back we saw Darry, Dally and Two-Bit looking through the window into the living room so I ran over to see what was going on. When I saw what it was my face went frozen. It was Kim. She was sleeping on Johnny's shoulder. She was actually a normal human being. WAIT! This means that my bestfriend and sister could be a couple! This was so exciting, I could tell the rest of the gang had the same idea as me. I love the idea of her being all happy and stuff, but then again she is my sister so I have to ruin it and embarrass her.

Me and the gang barged in the door and tried throwing all the basics at her. Darry and Soda were "awing," Two-Bit and Dal were making kissy noises, and Steve was making a kissy face and I joined him. It wasn't working, which got me annoyed so I took it up a knotch which I regret doing but at the same time I don't. I said straight to Kim "Kim and Johnny sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" I could tell she wanted to kill me by the look she gave me, but oh no, she wasn't done yet. She tackled me and twisted my arm behind my back and pushed it up. It hurt like heck. She forced me to surrender and scream uncle at the top of my lungs and left me on the floor. I'm pretty sure I'll never do that again.

Kim's POV:

I was so done with the guys that I ran up to my room slammed the door and locked it. I jumped on my bed and started writing in my journal that I keep all of my thoughts in. This time they were about Johnny. He was so cute, sweet and everything anyone could ever want. I don't want to tell him because no one could ever like me.
