Helena looked at the boy blankly. Her eyes fluttered as she blinked, trying to get what the older male said through her head. Ciel simply sat there, his face blank as his eyes stayed on Sebastian. Helena shifted her gaze to the butler and Ciel could have sworn he seen the man in black flinch under her blank stare.
"What did you just say?" Helena asked calmly.
"It is almost time for dinner, Mistress. I cannot give you sweets in fear of ruining your dinner," Sebastian repeated.
The dark aura that filled the room suffocated the other two demons, though Ciel wasn't the source of the girl's anger. A soft clicking of teeth could be heard, and Ciel swore he seen Sebastian sweat.
"Alright, fine. You win. Go back to your job, butler," Helena dismissed.
She seemingly gave up, but Sebastian didn't let his guard down. Even his Master was not so forceful on his sweets. Thank goodness, Ciel thought, was that none of the humans in the house had seen the woman so angry. Ciel himself had never seen the girl so upset, for she was always grinning. Hence the name he gave her.
Cheshire.
Why she dubbed him Alice, he will never know. Though, now that he thought of it, Hatter suited her also. The way her moods change and her sadistic thoughts. The thing that needed to be feared was the things she thought that she didn't voice. When she bit her thumbnail in thought, but never said a word. That's when you needed to worry, especially if your the opposing party.
"Ciel~ I'm bored!" Helena pouted.
"You could always help with paperwork," Ciel offered, a sly smile on his face.
"No way!" Helena gasped, then giggled.
"I can't help but notice how much you've changed. When we met, you were terrified of being in a closed off room, and now your sadistic and find a dirty pleasure in watching people bleed," Ciel rambled, not even sure if she was listening.
"I bet the viewers think the same thing," Helena chuckled.
"Wait... what? Viewers?" Ciel asked.
"Or readers, depending on how you look at it," Helena pondered.
Claiming it as one of her rambles, Ciel dismissed it. A knock came at the door, and Ciel let them in. To none of their surprise, it was Sebastian.
"Dinner is ready," he said with a bow.
-----------------------------------------
Ciel sat on his bed alone, for once. For the oddest of reasons, Helena wanted to sleep in his room, and left him no room to argue. A sudden thought came to mind, then he looked at Sebastian, who was doing the first of the buttons on his nightshirt.
"Sebastian," Ciel said, catching the mans attention, "if you are affected by Helena's presence, then why am I not?"
Sebastian pondered the question for only a second, before replying, "You are the source of her affection. It is only normal that her influence doesn't reach you."
Ciel hummed, taking in the butler's words. A shiver ran down the earl's spine, and something in his mind alerted him.
"Helena, somethings wrong," Ciel whispered.
Sebastian was gone before Ciel could blink. Ciel, who hadn't mastered the art of fast movement, had to run through the halls, alerting all of those he past. His first destination was her room, where he could feel her presence along with Sebastian's. Her's was frightened, scared, defenseless. His body seemed to tingle, receiving waves of her anxiety.
He stopped outside her door, and heard nothing. His hearing only picked up breathing. The scent of lust, bird, and earth came through the door. Lust and bird was easy to identify. Ciel opened the door, to find quite the sight. Sebastian was pinned to the wall by what seemed to be wooden talismans, and Helena was on her back, on the floor. Looming above her, was a black mass. His black cloak was seemingly cut through by his golden chain that adorned lockets. Long, silver hair went almost to the floor, his bangs covering his eyes. He was missing his black hat, sadly, and his mouth was slack, missing its cheerful yet creepy grin.
"Your mate is here, now what will you do?" he asked, all humor gone from his normally friendly and teasing tone.
"You leave him alone! Touch him and I'll-"
"You'll what? What will you do as you tremble?" Undertaker asked.
"What is the meaning of this?! Why are you here?" Ciel demanded from his spot in the door.
"Why?" Undertaker pondered, swaying a bit, causing his bangs to shift.
A lone green eye stared at the earl. Is was acidic, seemingly burning him. The thought that hit him was that if he were still human, he would have gone up in flames. Ciel, not being able to move, soon found himself pinned to the wall beside Sebastian, who was struggling to get free. The Undertaker strolled over to the little male, the countess slowly getting up behind him. He waved a bony hand in front of the earl's face, and Helena watched as Ciel's eyes rolled into the back of his head.
H.E.I.S.I.N.D.A.N.G.E.R.
"My Lady?" Sebastian whispered.
The Undertaker slowly turned back to her, and his eyes widened ever so slightly. Helena's eyes were blank and a deep, dark, boiling purple. Black wings stretched out behind her, barely fitting in the room. Her black nightgown was ripped, showing a bit of skin, to much for a lady.
"Welcome to the party. Your beautiful..." Undertaker whispered, praising her.
"You hurt him..." she whimpered, bloody tears streaming down her face.
"He is merely unconscious, love. Please, don't be angry with me," Undertaker pleaded, stepping ever closer.
Sebastian struggled to get free. He had to wake his master, or the girl might just tear through all of them to get to him.
