The party dragged on, and soon Helena couldn't do it anymore.

"I'll be retiring, good night all," Helena announced.

"Ah, take this man with you. He seems to be asleep," Earl Gray motioned to the sleeping Siemens.

Sebastian picked up the man and followed the countess down to his room.

"Drop this idiot off here, and help me dress," Helena ordered.

"Oh, my. What happened to the bubbly girl at the party?" Sebastian asked, chuckling.

"It got tired of people."

~Ciel' room~

Sebastian had grabbed a nightgown and now was undressing his lady. As he undressed her, he noticed a nasty scar in he collar bone. A dog bite. Curiosity rolled of Sebastian in waves, and the countess sighed.

"All you have to do is ask, you know," she mumbled.

"I know where it's from, I just didn't think there would be only one," Sebastian clarified.

"They bit down hard enough to draw blood. That's it. They were kind, and the people there made me feed them, so I knew them well," Helena droned, in a daze of remembrance.

"Ah~" the butler purred. "Well, sweet dreams, Mistress."

The butler bowed, and left for the kitchen.

~The Party~

Ciel sighed, and regretted not taking the silent invitation to join his lover to bed. A scream was heard. A female one. Worry racked the earl's body as he thought of his Helena. He ran toward the scream, and found the servants, Earl Gray, and the rest of the guest. All with horror stricken faces. Ciel pushed through the lot, and gasped at what he saw. Von Siemens was laying there in his chair by the hearth, dead.

"Excuse me, if I may!" Arthur pleaded.

He made his way though the bodies of the shocked people. He walked up to the corpse, and examined it.

"This man is dead!" Arthur exclaimed.

"What is all this noise about?!"

Helena was furious that she had been woken. She pushed people out of her way, and seen the display. Ciel shot her a knowing glance, and Sebastian and Helena both blinked in acknowledgement.

"Is it just me, or is it bloody hot in here?" Bard asked, whipping his brow of sweat.

"We shouldn't touch anything until the yard gets here," Irene suggested.

"No, we gotta move 'em. With this heat, he'll decompose fast," Bard informed, shaking his head.

Irene looked at him in horror.

"Right. The cellar would be best. Finny, fashion a stretcher," Sebastian ordered.

Once the body was removed and put in the cellar, they all sorted alibis, after coming to the conclusion that it had been one of them.

"Well, Irene and I were in the billiards room," Grimsby said.

"So was I," reported Earl Gray.

"And so was I, and Mr. Phelps," Arthur said.

"I was drinking in the lounge with Mr. Woodly and the earl. Isn't that right, Ran-Mao?" Lau asked, getting a nod.

Everyone turned to Helena, the only one left to speak.

"Pardon the question, my Lady, but where were you?" Lau asked, smirking.

"I was asleep, in our room," Helena said, her nightgown swaying as she shifted on her feet.
