(The chick but with long hair :p)

They were there again. Those crimson eyes that seemed to mock me. The ones that always look at me with entertainment, like seeing me wander made it happy. Those cruel, evil eyes.

I wandered, looking through the woods that has been painted black. The woods that only crows and those crimson eyes rest. I wander aimlessly, trying to find who those eyes belong to, no, what they belonged to. But, alas, I had to wake, just before I meet those blood red orbs face to face.

I woke with a start. I was once again was on the roof of a building, the one I had took shelter on for the night. I sighed and cursed the red eyes in my head.

~Phantomhive Manor ~

The demon had knocked softly on the door to his master's study. A gentle "come in" was heard clearly to his sensitive ears. Slowly and silently, he opened the oak door, the cart with his master's refreshments and sweets following not to far behind.

Only looking up for only a brief second, Ciel Phantomhive acknowledged his butler's presents. He looked back to the paper work that he had found to be a collar around his neck. The man clad in black set a tea cup in front of Ciel, along with a platter of cake.

"Today we have a chocolate cake, very popular in France. It has chocolate frosting and filling. I do hope you enjoy it, Master," the butler explained, though he knew his master was not listening in the slightest.

"Your dismissed, Sebastian," the earl's cold voice rang.

He left the room silently, like a shadow, gracefully he walked down the dark halls, for the sun no longer kissed the earth. The demon smirked as he thought of playing with his toy, a young girl of pure beauty. Though, if you asked him, he would say he played with her for amusement. Though, in reality, he just loved to look at her. Her beautiful snow white hair, her pale skin, and the eyes that looked much like his own.

Blood red.

~Meanwhile on the edge of the manor~

As the young girl trudged down the long path, she noticed the manor not to far away. Judging by the large lawn of the estate, she had guessed they were rich. She huffed at the thought of a noble. As she got closer, she found the family crest. She smirked at the emblem as she recognized the crest.

"Hope the Phantomhive's don't mind me using their roof as a napping spot," she laughed at herself.

Pale fingers reached out of the black cloak she wore, covering her head to toe, as it was to big. They reached smirking lips as she laughed lightly at her little joke. She then froze for only a minute. Something was wrong, her sharp, yet human, senses picked up a very disturbing presence in the large manor of the Phantomhive's. Her smirk faded as she approached cautiously, feeling watched.

She scaled the walls, reaching the roof. She settled into a comfortable position. As she laid down, she noticed a crow staring at her.

"Will you laugh at me to?" she asked the bird.

It gave a silent reply.

She mentally slapped herself for being stupid enough to even engage in conversation with the bird. Though, it's presence made her wary.

"I wonder if I'll see them? Those eyes."

She closed her eyes and rolled over, hoping for rest.

~In the manor~

Sebastian froze as he felt a human approach the manor. He waited, wondering why a human had come here at such an hour. The human climbed the walls to the roof and he mentally congratulated them on it. A smirk stretched over his lips. He waited till the person had stopped moving and went to investigate. Black mist filled the hall, wrapping around him with cold hands. Only a crow was left. The black bird flew with grace as it left the mansion, gliding on soft, soundless wings to a tree tall enough to see the roof. His eyes got bigger. A girl, no older than Ciel, watched him as she laid there. Her white hair like snow and her eyes like rubies.

"Will you laugh at me to?" she asked, seeming to actually want the bird to answer.

Sebastian only stared in reply to her confusing question. She rolled over in irritation and whispered:

"I wonder if I'll see them? Those eyes."

This made Sebastian smile. She hoped she would dream of him, how cute. He flew over to the young girl and changed into the Sebastian everyone knew. Raven black hair, tailcoat, pocket watch, the pin that labeled him head butler, and crimson eyes.

He walked over to her and and wrapped his arms around the girl.

She, who had been on edge since approaching the manor, awoke immediately. Sebastian covered her mouth so she didn't wake the master with her screams, as much as he would love to hear them. She tried to look at him but he wouldn't let her.

"Welcome to the Phantomhive manor~" Sebastian cooed.

She glared as much as she could with the lack of eye contact. He chuckled at the girl. She remained still, to his surprise.

"Lady Helena~"

She froze. Only one person knows her name, someone she never thought was real. The red eyes. She had sat there in those woods painted black and talked to it, telling her painful past, trying to lure it out.

"Now if you don't scream, I'll let go of your mouth. Wouldn't want to wake the master," Sebastian stated.

He slowly removed his hand from Helena's lips. She stayed silent. He helped her stand, but wouldn't let her turn around.

"How do you know my name?" Helena asked quietly.

"Who knows~" he purred.

He had a bad urge to touch her. That silky hair, those slender legs, those perfect lips.

"Your the crow."

This shocked him. Him, a crow? He smirked. A crow, yes, that he was.

"The one who lives in the dark of the woods that are blacker than a moonless night. The crimson that stares at me and leaks amusement as I walk, lost," she hissed the last words.

That was poetic, Sebastian thought. He stepped closer to the girl, and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. A gloved hand found its way to her chin as Helena gasped. Sebastian growled as he thought of a moan coming out instead.

"Who are you?"

Not what are you doing, who do you work for. None of the usual questions because of the way he held her. No, he got a 'who are you'. This amused him to no end.

"Jeff."
