the authors notes. lol How many of you did I scare? But Demon... why you do that? I want to end the book at chapter 30. I will make a deal though. If this hits 30 comments saying "Notice me" (couldn't think of anything else XD), I will go till chapter 35. Lub you Kittens!

Helena was sitting in the Earl's previous seat with a wide grin on her face. Everyone was looking at the girl with fear and cautiousness. Dark, sadistic violet eyes pierced everyone in the room. That's when she started to hum merrily. The tune was not familiar, and Arthur's curiosity broke through his fear of the countess.

My~ friends don't walk the run~

Skinny dip in rabbit-holes for fun~

Popping, popping balloons with guns~

Getting high off of  helium~

Helena's voice rang through the room. It was smooth and beautiful, and sent a chill through everyone.

We paint white roses red-

Each shade from a different person's head-

This dream, dream is a killer-

Getting drunk with the blue caterpillar-

A male voice joined. Everyone whipped around to see the earl and a dry Jeremy enter. Surprisingly, it was the earl himself that had continued the haunting song.

"I-I didn't know you sang," Irene stuttered, still trying to find out what the song meant.

"Well, is everything set up, Alice~" Helena purred.

Ciel tsked, then a smirk played on his lips.

"Of course, Cheshire," Ciel answered. "Festivities will start after dinner. I do hope everyone enjoys themselves."

"Now, now, Earl. Your scaring your guest," Jeremy scolded.

A chuckle erupted from the earl's lips. He bowed slightly.

"I apologize. Those are more like nicknames that hold no meaning. I do hope you will forgive us for... playing inside jokes. Children need there fun to," Ciel smiled.

Everyone nodded, but Arthur was panicking a little.

We've been put into a mad man's hands! At least the earl has a bit of sanity, for I doubt the countess has a lick of sense in her, Arthur thought.

Helena's eyes flickered to his, as if she had heard him. For all he knew, she could have. A smile was placed on her lips. It seemed pure and and childish, how it should be. Arthur sighed, and the countess tilted her head.

"I something bothering you, Doctor?" Helena asked.

"No, just a strange  thought, that's all," Arthur said.

"Well, off to dinner with us," the earl said, swishing his hand to the door.

-After Dinner-

Helena laid there, still. The covers were pulled  over her. Her eyes flashed violet and then quickly settled into their natural shade of lavender. The creature slinking toward her would not harm her, she was inhuman, after all. Something hit the bed, and Helena slowly rose as to not scare it. The people in the room breath hitched, unsure of what she was doing. She reached out for the creature, and it took all Ciel's willpower not to crush it in fear of it attacking. The lights came on, and as their eyes adjusted. Sitting on the bed, rubbing its head on Helena's hand, was a black mamba.  Everyone but the earl and Jeremy gasped. The snake turned to them and hissed threateningly. The earl narrowed his eyes, flashing them into a twisted fuchsia, telling him that with the wrong more, the mamba would be no more.

"Aren't you precious? To bad you belong to someone else," Helena whispered to the snake.

It hissed in reply. She then shot daggers at her lover.

"Don't worry. He couldn't hurt you even even with a lance in hand," Helena sighed.

The snake slithered up her arm and around her neck, rubbing her cheek affectionately, seeming laughing at her comment.

"How?" Arthur simply asked.

"One of my gifts. Snakes have always liked me. I was put into a circus because of this. I meet someone of the same talent, and we became close," Helena said, eyes glazed in remembrance.

Later, they had found a vile of poison in Woodly's room, and using the mamba and its ties to Africa, accused him that he had shipped it along with the diamonds his company imported.

"But, why the countess? Wouldn't going after you directly be more of a crucial blow to the company if you died?" Arthur asked.

"You ask all the right questions, Doctor," Helena praised. "His new fiance would be seen as a weakness within the Phantomhive stronghold. Why attack the strong wall when there is a weaker one along the back?" Helena explained.

"You are all lying! I did nothing!"   Woodly yelled.

"Shut it, you," Gray warned, putting his sword to the man's throat.

The next morning, the weather had cleared and everyone was getting into their carriages. Jeremy walked up to the carriage that held the doctor, and waited outside his window.

"Merci de prendre soin du maître et de la maîtresse. Je l'apprécie, Docteur Arthur," Jeremy stated and then signaled the driver to go.

Arthur's eyes widened and he pondered over what he had said.

Thank you for taking care of the master and mistress. I do appreciate it, Doctor Arthur

"Wait! Turn the carriage around!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That was to much..." Helena complained.
"Don't lie, you had fun," Ciel shrugged.
"You scared all of them with your antics, Lady Ghost," Jeremy scolded playfully.
"I'm normally a good girl. I gotta be bad sometimes or it gets bottled up, and no one wants that," Helena giggled.
The three started to walk up the stairs, but the door was flung open. All three of them turned to a panting Arthur.
"Did you forget something?" Helena asked sweetly.
"Jeremy the Priest, no. Sebastian the Butler!" Arthur accused.
"We've been found out. What gave me away, Sensei?" Sebastian asked, pulling off the mask that covered his face.
