Not everyone has an ideal home life, In Na's wasn't perfect, but it also wasn't terrible. There were some days when her parents just screamed at one another and on those nights In Na would bounce around the city looking for a place to ride out the fight.

Several days prior she had heard one of her classmates talking to a friend about a place they were converting into a hangout, and In Na figured it would be okay if she borrowed it for a night. It was just after ten o'clock when she managed to find the place.

"No one should be here," she muttered to herself.

Glancing around In Na didn't see any sign of people around the abandoned looking parking structure. Grabbing the knob to the door that lead to the building's innards In Na groaned when it just wiggled locked. She grabbed her lock pick from her backpack and set to work on the lock with a deft hand. In Na didn't like to think about how often she had to use her skill to get into a place just to hideout from her parents arguing. It had become a thing that happened at least twice a week.

Once the door was open In Na packed her tools away and entered the dark building. Pulling out her cellphone to use as a light she shuffled through the room. It was huge, but near the center of the room couches and mismatched chairs had been arranged in a semi-circle. On a small stand was an old tv and randomly scattered about were all different sorts of lamps. A few were on and casting strange shadows across the ceiling and floor.

"Not bad," she commented.

Pocketing her phone In Na made her way to one of the worn out sofas and made herself comfortable with her backpack as a pillow. It wasn't long until the girl fell asleep, content with her safety in the hangout.

When morning came In Na had planned to be gone before anyone could show up, especially since it was the weekend, but the girl had felt too comfortable and didn't wake up to the several alarms she had set. Some things were just meant to happen, In Na used to believe that.

"Hey Jin! Was it really unlocked?"

"Shh!"

In Na sprung awake at the loud voice anxiety setting in when she saw two guys just staring at her. She pulled her bag onto her lap as she tried to find a way out of the situation, but the tall guy sitting in the chair next to her was too close. If she were to run he would easily be able to catch her, as for the other it was her classmate that she had overheard about the place from. Suga, In Na thought his name was.

"What's she doing here?" Suga questioned.

"I don't know. I just found her here," the other guy said.

"Who are you?" Suga directed at her.

"Calm down Suga. She goes to our school," the other said.

"So? She's trespassing," Suga said.

"Technically so are you," In Na countered.

The guy sitting near her snorted a laugh while the other guy rolled his eyes.

"That's not the point," Suga said.

"Then what is?" In Na questioned.

"You're in my spot," he whined.

Raising a brow In Na glanced from her classmate to the couch she was sitting on to the snickering boy across from her.

As she slowly stood up In Na said, "Oops?"

The guys across from In Na busted out laughing while she awkwardly moved away from the couch in question.

"Shut up Jin, this isn't funny," Suga complained.

"What's not funny?" a new voice asked.

Behind Suga several new people entered their gazes shot about the now brightly lit hangout taking in the scene. In Na inwardly groaned knowing a clean escape was impossible now.

"Who's she?" a guy with long legs inquired.

"She's wearing our school uniform," commented a guy with a deep voice.

"Girlfriend?" the guy eating a lollipop addressed to the still cackling Jin.

"What?" In Na gaped.

Jin stopped laughing at the question and cleared his throat. "N-No, that's not it," he fumbled.

"She broke in last night," Suga stated.

Bowing her head slightly In Na said, "Sorry."

"She broke in? How?" lollipop guy questioned.

With her head still down In Na said, "I picked the lock."

"What?" the deep voiced boy gasped.

"Seriously?" long legs whistled.

"Why?" lollipop guy asked.

"I apologize for trespassing in your space, but I had no other place to go last night. It won't happen again, so can you let me off just this once," In Na begged.

"It's fine, you don't have to apologize," Jin said.

"What? But," Suga began to argue.

"No harm, no foul," lollipop guy agreed.

"My spot was fouled," he countered.

"What do you want me to do about it?" she challenged.

She lifted her head and stared at the boy head on waiting for his response.

Crossing his arms Suga turned away from her and pouted, "I don't know yet."

"When you figure it out let me know. I'm the Jang In Na in your class. I sit three seats behind you," she informed.

With one more bow In Na took her leave with hurried footsteps. When she reached the door she kicked it opened with a grunt of embarrassed frustration. She was almost to the street when someone tapped her shoulder. Spinning around she saw it was Jin with a friendly smile.

"Is there another problem?" she questioned.

"No, no," he shook his head.

"Then what is it?" she asked calmly.

Scratching the back of his neck Jin chuckled nervously and said, "I'm sorry about my friend. He's cranky in the morning."

"It's fine," In Na said. "I was the one who broke in."

Searching his pockets Jin said, "About that. One second."

After a moment from his pocket he pulled out a silver key with a single key ring attached to it and handed it to In Na. She glanced from the key in her palm and up to the boy smiling down at her.

"It's not breaking and entering when you have a key," he smirked.

"Why are you giving this to me?" In Na asked confused.

"I don't need to know why you hid out, but if you need a place to stay again you can stay here," he explained.

"Why?" she asked.

Her heart picked up at the kind look he gave her while her fingers curled around the key.

"Because everyone needs a place to runaway to some times," he replied.

In Na took a breath to control the rushing emotions inside her as her eyes blinked away the tears that threatened to show themselves.

"Thank you, this is really sweet of you," she said.

Backing away Jin waved as he said, "I hope to see you again In Na-ya. Take care."

It was probably then when In Na started falling for Jin; a key in hand and a parting wave that lead to the greatest heartache.
