"Maybe you should start trying to do something good for yourself, babe," I say. She nods slightly and obviously tries to avoid the situation by looking at the buildings as we pass them. You can't hold a conversation with this girl.

"You wanna go to Build-A-Bear?" she asks, looking back at me.

"Sure, I guess."

We turn into the store, and right away, all I hear is the sound of laughing children. It's the one of the best, yet most obnoxious noises on the planet. I was going to skip this place, since it seemed a bit too childish, but I wasn't going to say no when she asked. I'm surprised she did.

"Are you gonna make one?" she asks.

"Uh, no, I don't think so."

"Don't be such a buzzkill!" she says while looking through the different types of animals.

"Me? A buzzkill? You must be out of your mind!" I move next to her and take a random animal, and it ends up being zebra fur. I hate zebras. "Here, I have one now. I'm not a buzzkill."

"You seem to find that just a bit offensive, huh?" She raises an eyebrow and grabs a purple tiger, which looks much better than my zebra. What am I even saying?

"Of course I find it offensive. I am clearly not a buzzkill. I-"

"Oh, I beg to differ." She walks over to the counter and pays for her tiger, and I pay for my zebra. "You, Mr. Styles, are the biggest buzzkill I have ever met."

"Hey!" I say as we walk over to the stuffing machine. "How am I a buzzkill?"

"My point exactly," she smirks as the woman at the stuffing machine puts her tiger on the hose. Ariana steps on the pedal until the bear is fully stuffed, and then she kisses one of those hearts and puts it inside. I do the same right after her, except I don't kiss the heart. I still have some dignity.

"I still don't get your point," I say to Ariana, "But I think I'm just gonna drop it."

"Good idea." She walks over to the clothes and looks through them, a concentrated look on her face. She's really into it.

"These are all either stripper clothes or wedding dresses," she says a bit loudly. A few women look up at her and she turns red, quickly moving to a different clothes section. I stand next to her and put an arm around her shoulder.

"Good one, Grande," I say, smirking.

"Ha ha. Move your arm before I break it in half." I quickly bring my arm back to my side, turning almost as red as she is.

"Let's see, stripper outfit or a wedding dress?" she asks, holding up two different tiny pieces of clothing. There's a fluffy purple dress and a pink shirt with a black skirt.

"I don't know," I say. "You seem to be pretty dedicated to this tiger."

"I am dedicated, it's cute. Just pick an outfit."

"Give it the stripper one."

"Of course you'd pick that one."

She puts the wedding dress back and brings the tiger over to one of those changing tables. She puts the outfit on the tiger and smiles at the finished product. There she goes again with her beautiful smile. This is the third time I've seen her smile today, and that's more times than I've ever seen her smile before. Looks like little Miss Grande is still a kid at heart.

"Looks hot, doesn't she?" she asks, motioning to her tiger.

"...sure?"

"Oh, whatever. You dress yours now."
